Adkins comes across very well in his interview. Shows so much enthusiasm for Saints, makes a change.

Cortese isn't stupid. He wants to get to the Prem. He will only do that by picking a good manager which Adkins seems to be Im getting sick of this small mindedness just because he isnt a big name. He has achieved with a small club so lets see what he does with a bigger one!

How is someone like Adkins, who has been successful expected to step up (as he deserves) if people show such a lack of respect to him. Everyone bangs on about giving young Managers a chance and then slagging them off when they get mentioned? O'Neill isn't coming so are there really many better alternatives to a man who has achieved a lot with S****horpe? Remember he would be dropping down a league to join us!

Apart from (deluded) SFC fans the rest of the football world wouldn't even think MON would consider coming here. Thats why it hasnt been in the papers. Its not on record from any good sources that he is even in the frame. Its just hope!
