At last some common sense. :goodman:
-
You took the words out of my mouth! As did Norway with his comment on the opening line. Maybe yo foreigners aren't that bad after all :smt057...
-
Fabio Capello might be available after the world cup. Ancelotti might be out of job for not winning the champions league. How about Marcelo Lippi? Other than those three why on earth would you want an Italian manager who knows nothing about the English lower leagues over someone who has a record of promotion from lower leagues to the top flight?
-
whoever the back up is will be used as a target man with Barnard or Connolly supply the main goal threat. Stop panicing!! Its so we can contiune to play the same system if RL is injured, suspended or needs a rest, which he has needed this season at times.
-
So in serious instances they should be kept in the clunk after they have died too? No one is saying the crime isn't dispicable but having done the time then anyone has a right to make a living. everyone makes mistakes, he didn't set out to kill or hurt anyone, what he did do is mess up and do something very stupid which he will have to live with forever.
-
no, i dont think he'd be any good as a striker, good second album but he should really stick to singing.
-
god how could i forget the top 4!
-
Yep, you are correct, funny how they both snubbed Man U, as did Gazza, i bet hirst and Gazza regret it, they could have been superb with Fergie watching over them.
-
How about the ex Plymouth goalkeeper too? Now there is an idea, a criminals XI GK - Luke Mccormick DEF DEF Jonathan Woodgate DEF John Terry DEF MID- David Roche- Southend player got banged up for dealing MID- Joey Barton MID Lee Bowyer ST - Partick Kluivert (innocent apparantly, hmmmmm) ST - Lee Hughes ST Marlon King Subs jamie Lawrence Marlon King Anyone think of any more? Two short for a 4-3-3 formation, not a bad team though!
-
thirsty Hirsty! What a player he could have been if it wasn't for injuries and his love of the beer. Rumour has it Fergie tried to sign him 5 times for Man U and when he couldn't get him turned to a certain frenchman instead....
-
cracking interview from Pardew. Refreshingly honest, liked the way he said he has a duty to explain to fans his decisions. Reading between the lines sounds like we have offered Connolly, hence his comment about if he signs and looking at playing him and Barnard together.
-
With you totally on that one, it doesn't excuse him because he did kill someone through his own stupidity, ignorance, arrogance, whatever it was, its not like he couldn't afford a taxi is it! But obviously having paid the consequences and done the time a man still has to make a living.
-
You can hardly compare the two. Barton is a thug who has repeatedly bullied people, including his own team mates. Lee Hughes made a huge mistake, yes he was a ***** and i am sure he would do anything to turn the clock back but he has paid for his offence and should be allowed to rebuild his life, let he who is without sin cast the first stone.......

Because the average football fan is known for his love of a health diet. :smt120

to lightweight, Messi wouldn't cope in league One, as Lawrie Mac would say you need violinists and road sweepers in every team. I'd prefer a bid for Steven Gerrard, he is unsettled at Liverpool and we could tempt them with a bid of £40m. I also think we should be looking at Ribery, he wants out at Bayern and what with his love of hookers we could put him in touch with Avram Grant who could recomend the local hospitality, that might clinch the deal. I'd play 3 in midfield, Gerrard, Xavi and Morgan with Lallana & Ribery out wide and Ricky through the middle, thats of course if we cant tempt Samuel Eto from Inter.
-
two pints of ambition with an aiming for the top chaser coming your way son.
-
Great up front and loves good hard tackle though.
-
I day dream about far more exciting things than Xavi in a saints shirt. Lucy Pinder out of one for starters.
-
thats not a good idea, since she split up with lenny Henry she's been on hunger strike, Doctors have given her 40 years.
-
Yes i know but had copied the wrong post. To busy dreaming about Xavi pulling the strings of our midfield.
-
Quite right too, this was a serious post about a possible new signing and as usual its got into mud slinging from the same old protagonists.
-
What about 'Avi ? that would work. Plus you'd save £2.50 on the missing letter.

Dont forget its home of those inspirational authors, the Brimson brothers.
