No idea, never heard of him. Generally not interested in what the media whores have to say.

Personally the only improvements i would like to see are to the playing staff. I am sure NC has more pressing matters to deal with than reducing the queues for the gutty ****s who cant go 90 minutes without drinking or filling their face with burgers and pies. So having a half time pint is so important to you that your would miss 1/9th of the game, plus injury time, just to have a beer. How many goals have you missed this season going downstairs with 35 mins on the clock?

According to the echo Jason Mcfeat is now vice chairman.
-
I couldn't give a toss if his name is Jason, James or Jesus. How can there be a vice president for a organisation that does not exist?
-
Glad to see you have redeemed yourself, albeit a bit late with your latest thread. :smt024

Yes it does matter, if this group is speaking on the fans behalf, still, then we need to know who it is that is (supposedly) representing us as our voice. By the sounds of it, it seems even Mr Grant didn't realise he had been replaced.

http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=22518 A whole list of of grumbles with the first one being, and i do stand corrected, that the PA system "spoils the day" not ruins it as per my previous posts. Loved the bit about not minding if they put their photos up on the score board as well, how generous. Do any of them matter if you are there to see the game? As for loving Hampshire, people might say that at cricket i dont know, i've never seen anyone sitting on a bed of nails at the Rose Bowl. I'd do it at football of course but you try getting a bed of nails into a football ground. You'd be jailed and banned for life for carrying an offensive weapon and inciting a riot and to cap it all get a cracking thread on here from the self righteous majority jumping on the real fans dont carry beds of nails bandwagon.

Did you fight the american guy who is caving your missus back door in?

Well it isn't stupid is it, if a poor PA system "ruins the day" for some people, as per a previous thread, then clearly they aren't their just to see the match. Something as insignificant as not hearing clearly an interview played over the noise of 20k+ people entering a sporting arena would not ruin the day if you were there just to see the game. Many of the modern football fans are consumers/customer not just football fans so what else do they expect? Maybe they should have gone twenty years ago when you couldn't get a beer, had to get in the ground an hour and a half before kick off to get a realtively decent view (looking back most were **** on the milton terracewhere i used to go) and spend the whole time in the freezing cold or ****ing rain. What would the soft, replica shirt wearing, modern "i had to queue for 10 minutes to get a hot dog" fan make of that?
-
Its not a good idea at all. for the clubs point of view it'd be a nightmare to manage and a season ticket is just that, a season ticket. You dont buy a season ticket on a train but ask for a reduced rate because you can only use it 3 days a week do you. If people cant go to games during the week dont buy a season ticket. That is the reason why i haven't had one the last two years as i wouldn't be back from work in time for most midweek games, however, my job changed in december and can now make midweek games so will be getting a season ticket this season.
-
I am sure one or two will have, probably turned up for the Huddersfield game, saw a display of class attacking football and 5 goals but vowed never to go back because they couldn't hear the second sentance of Pardews pre match interview and the mustard wasn't colemans on their half time hot dog, it ruined the day. :smt009

No, not you pal, you are just administrator of this forum. In another article about crowds on the up, James Mcfeat, vice president of the saints trust is quoted. He is a new one, not heard his name mentioned before.
-
Surely you could moan about an extend queue for a pint in most CC pubs anyday of the week though? Surely you could go to a Hungry Horse pub and have a non-michelin standard meal for a fiver any day of the week? Surely the PA system in Yates "ruins your day" because you can make out every naunce of every instrument of every song played any day of the week though?

i'd like to see a new right back, a decent central midfield player for when Schniderlin and Hammond are out and put pressure on them and a decent target man striker as cover for Lambert. Or am i on the wrong thread as i thought this was a forum about a football team?
-
Spot on, as usual people panicking over nothing and ****ting themselves over totally unfounded rumours and speculation.

I've been going regularly for 25 years. I've done this for one reason, my love of football and specifically saints. I have also been to non saints games though, sometimes just to see a different ground, different teams and a different atmpshere. It seems to me though that some people on here have other motives for going to games other than enjoying a game of football. Rather than enjoying the game people expect Gordon ramsey quality refreshments, they moan that they cant get a pint at half time (if you were in a pub with 21,000 other people and only a handful of bars open would you expect to only queue for 5 minutes for a beer?) that the music the team enters the pitch too doesn't get them motivated enough for the game, that there is no smoking areas, the standard of the PA system "ruins the day" for some people, the panels around the ground aren't clear and people bang on them-"moronic yoof" apparantly. Personally i couldn't give a toss if the PA system isn't of O2 arena standards and it certainly doesn't "ruin the day". I dont care if its take me 5 minutes or 10 to queue for a pint or that the burgers aren't hand made by a michelen cheif. All i am interested in and care about is that primarliy saints win, secondly its a good, entertaining game with hopefully plenty of goals and a decent atmosphere. Am i alone in this or do other people go to football for other things than what happens on the pitch?

Good shout, or Fire. Heard Stone Roses, this is the one, at Old Trafford this season when Man U were playing, think it was City, sounded awesome. Starts slowly and builds up and starts to kick in about 1.45. Its all a load of ******** anyway, doesn't matter what music is played if its a big game the crowd will be up for it if its a game against the likes of Oldham then they will be less up for it. thats the problem with fans that dont understand terrace culture.

MOre importantly Stu, why aren't you commenting on the vice president of the saints trust, you know that organisation that doesn't exist, being quoted in the echo. Thought you'd have sore finger tips in your haste & fury to get that on as thread before anyone else.

I went to the Amafi coast last summer, absolutely stunning. Stayed just outside Sorrento and did a bus trip down the coast to Positano & Amalfi, breathtaking.

Watch yourself in So'ton pubs when watching the World cup
Turkish replied to Toadhall Saint's topic in The Saints
Oh my god, i've just read it, they have codenamed it 'operation Mulse' how dramatic. They will be running a special operation (i wonder what they will call that one) at Southampton Airport to prevent thugs trying to make their way to South Africa, obviously everyone flying to South Africa will be doing it via Southampton Airport wont they. Southampton-Malaga-Madrid-South Africa, just to have a scrap with a few foreigners, f*ck me i didn't realise all football thugs were millionaries too. And if you are already banned make sure you hand your passort in or you'll be subject to....., wait for it, yet another special operation - to 'raid' your home. Three special operations for 109 people banned in Hampshire, thats pretty impressive and for the rest of us, you go easy, or you will be dealt with robustly, no doubt by another special operation. -

They did this during the last one, i cant remember exactly what happened but there was a few acts of vandalism in a small town like Crawley and about 5 people involved were given football banning orders as the offence was supposedly football related. This is utterly pointless and total nonsense as 1/ As JRM says, football banning orders were initally intended to stop 'hooligans' from travelling abroad for England games 2/ A football banning order only stops you going into the ground, or in some circumstances within a designated radius of it, it doesn't prevent you entering City Centres or pubs if the grounds are outside of this radius, if the incident happens in a pub when the game is over 5000 miles away surely a pub banning order is more apt? 3/ How do they know the person who commits the offence has been watching the game or it has anything to do with the game? If a bloke watches a match in a pub, or even just happens to be in a pub that happens to have a game on then has a fight an hour later because some other bloke pinched his birds arse (not that she should be there watching football anyway but thats another issue) does he still get a football banning order because he is in a pub and had been watching football even though the incident is totally unrelated. They are going well over the top with the football related thing now, its becoming ridiculous and an excuse to get headlines again. -
This is what awaits Alan Pardew on Wednesday.

i think ok is a little generous, its didn't get off to the best of starts, tailed off a bit in the middle and the less said about the end the better, other than that, superb. -
Why is he a hero? Average League one defender who wasn't worth what he cost in wages and transfer fee, missed a one of his 3 season with injury and not first choice centre half even before Fonte was signed. Seems like a decent enough chap but hardly a hero.
