Personally, I have never liked St Mary's As the ground name, although I do understand why many do particularly in regard to the clubs origins. People/ owners come and go over time. That's why I would just like it called Saints Stadium. Short, sweet and immediately identifiable with the club.

I saw today that the club were advertising a Fun Day at SMS on 26th October - when the team host Fulham in a 5.30pm kick off. The advertising blurb stated that there would be face painting and other activities and would cost £60 for 2 adults and 2 under elevens. I can't see anything about this on the OS - does anyone know anything else about this?

Phillips has been a great pro and to still be playing in the premier league is a fantastic achievement . I loved watching him when he was a Saints player - always thought we had a chance of a goal with him in the side. I for one will give him a great reception.

Despite the couple of sarcastic comments it is a relevant thread. Service in the family area was appalling. Insufficient staffing resulted in lengthy queues still as the second half was getting under way. Unfortunately the club has never really got to grips with the catering for the masses. Food very expensive and I too will be giving it a miss.

With three new signings probably making their home debuts tomorrow, I guess most of the focus will be on OSVALDO. There have been talks of songs for him and WANYAMA and that is all well and good. However, I hope that LOVREN gets an equally warm and generous welcome. He was the first to sign, an International who couldn't wait to get here and play for Southampton. His twitter feed bears testament to that. He is always interacting with fans, has settled in well and had a great game at WBA. Don't forget the guy who really wanted to be here as well as the other two 'more glamourous' signings who took a bit of persuading.

Not bothered either way really. However, as others have mentioned the club doesn't seem to engage with the fans much. Personally I'd like the club to spend some money on getting a P.A. System that works properly. Ever since SMS opened it has been garbage. West Broms P.A. System on Saturday was crystal clear. #saintsfc - engage with that. Rant over.
