Yeah 80 of them when your rabble showed up, in your Red and White Deckchair Shirts, causing trouble and even going as far as to incite young Children, including young ladies, to violence. Scratch the surface and the truth is always revealed.....

Read my post again Gemmel, I said it was a lazy media perception. The truth is Some fans are loyal, some fans arent, if you think Saints have got 32,000 loyal fans then fair enough, I can't be bothered to argue the point with you.
-
LOL, like it or not, Due to a few raucous showings of support in our early Premiership days and of course, extremely lazy journlism, Pompey Fans are considered amongst the most Loyal, Passionate, Vociferous fans around. Not even my opinion, but the opinion of the media who have dubbed us as such. Other clubs to enjoy this lazy perception include Newcastle, West Brom and Stoke City. Southampton for some reason dont have to suffer this ridiculous generalisation.

Good luck Ginge, don't hold your breath though. Chainrai is a British Citizen and a respected businessman. HMRC will welcome the new ownership and use this as an opportunity to reclaim in full what is owed to the Great British Taxpayer. Leaving the good people of Southampton to focus on their next great moral crusade against say, I dunno, poorly paid people in service industries who dont speak English too good?

I hope it's not an Arab buyer, had a gutfull of Arab owners (In a stricktly ownership of PFC kinda way). That great America philanthropist Paul Allen would be quite nice? I hear he's fond of the area?

And then finally an end to all this malarky! I'll miss this thread... But! call it misplaced, but I feel more optimistic now than I have in about 5 months, relegation does not now hold so much fear. Just think, if those cretins down the road can get their act together, we could even have something to look forward too next season!
-
For my part your very welcome and if you don't mind, that'd be nice.

Nothing personal taken MS. Likewise my responce isn't aimed at you personally more the attitude, It's funny to see some Saints fans trying to somehow Intellectualise there views in such a pious manner, we all just want to support our clubs, some hate their rivals irrationally, thats fair enough, but I wish people would stick to the raw, more honest, statements of hate, rather than trying to 'dress up' their viewpoints as some kind of honest crusade against all thats wrong with football, beginning and ending (Funnily enough) with your greatest rivals, those fans should stick to clapping their hands and singing about Shooting Pompey fans, its much more dignified and certainly far less hypocritical.

LOL, The evolution of a put down! The Blue Phew (As in Smell?) I like it, what about the 'Blue Poo' Surely thats the next stage of evolution ESB?!
-
Nope, plenty of well meaning Saints fans who in retrospect got things wrong. Many were appreciative of the way Lowe ran your club, boasting of its fantastic Academy, bringing players through and taking pride in Saints reluctance to match there (At the time) Premier League rivals in the transfer market. There is no fundermental difference between Saints fans and Pompey when it comes to the opinions on the running of there respective clubs, some get it right, some get it wrong. For what it's worth I thought Gaydamak was the best thing since sliced bread (So I got it wrong!), LOTS of Pompey fans didn't. Over the last few years Havant and Waterlooviles support has been swelled by Pompey fans who did not like the way things were going, this goes back two or three years so even as we WERE winning the FA Cup etc (Some, certainly not me) did not appreciate what was going on. And that Sid, is a FACT.

I hope your right mate, I have not got a clue whats been going on, but these guys have clearly been up to something all along. My hope is we can come out of this in the Fizzy pop (Relegation I feel is the most likely outcome), with very little debt and a chance to use the parachute payments more effectively than this lot did.

O'Hara is being paid by spurs, he jokingly offered to loan players on Pompey's payroll lunch and Taxi money. (In a minute check your PM's mate)
-
lol, no offence taken.
-
Maybe your right Wade, but a real fans love is unconditional, the owners can be blamed, The Players can be blamed, sometimes you can even see the shortcomings of your fellow fans, yet the club is always infallible.
-
Sorry to disappoint you TDD. We live to fight another day.

'Cos were Nails!

Gotta laugh at the many Pious Saints fans on here, many of whom would of been Backing Saints to the hilt when trying to avoid the 10 Point Administration penalty, by ludicrously trying to say the fault lie at the door of the 'Holding' company. Many on here openly admitted it was a load of balls, but 'hoped' Saints could use this technicality to avoid the same Punishment that other clubs were forced to take. So take the p*ss all you like, just put the hypocritical 'Holier than thou' attitudes to one side, we all know your 'Saints' only in name.

I think Mero sums it up nicely, Now we can ALL get on with enjoying what should be a great day on the 13th!
-
I really like Al Fahim, I know I shouldn't but I can't help it. He means well, but he's a complete and utter nutter. The way he showed up for the game in that Pompey top 2 sizes too small for him, laughing at the image in my head now.
-
lol, Did you like the way I cleverly set myself up for that one weston.
-
This is true, we had a cup run nearly as easy as yours in 2003. 2010 looks like it's going to be even easier.
-
Hey WTF are you doing MLG?!? Don't let a bit of honest realism and perspective get in the way of a spot of Pompey bashing!
-
Thanks for your honesty Sid. I guess were all wise after the event.

What a rubbish post. Boooooooooooooooo
