  1. I do find it amusing how Pompey's very existence gets under your skins so much! It's a priceless gift, you're like the abused victims who cant ever let go, it's a mix of funny and tragic. I honestly don't think Pompey fans are so bothered with Saints, hate them yes, dismiss them yes, scum them if given the chance, yes. But the level of hurt displayed on this thread is unbelievable. What f*cking happened??? I cant believe you fella's make it so easy, forget winning, promotions or any other football related one-up-manship to get one over the scummers we only have to exist. You shouldn't of let it get this out of control fella's, Pompey will 'exist' whatever, you all know that, so why do this to yourselves? It's crazy. We have been bloody good rivals for you guys, good luck forming a meaningful rivalry with Brighton, Bournemouth or Reading?!? Portsmouth will always be here and we'll always get under your skin, but the levels you take it to is crazy, your like illogical crazed football hooligans baying for the blood of the opposition, but with a modern day twist.... work place warriors, sat behind your PC's who instead of throwing punches fire off emails to the football league, take that skate. It's laughable. I'm leaving now, to my mind this thread ran it's course for me last week, a genuine opinion (biased only as your own are) removed, a warning issued and the reason 'trolling' given so this is my last post, it'll probably also get pulled for trolling, which is completely incorrect, to troll is to say something just to get a reaction, this is said because I mean it, I think I have meant 99% of everything I have ever posted here, so 'troll' is a factually incorrect label. '****', 'Idiot' or a myriad of other labels I may find harder to defend. One redeeming feature of you fella's and this site is a Pompey fan has been able to hang around so long without being banned, credit to you, but times are a changing and it's time to move on. So long, take care and for your own sakes, wind it back a notch!
  2. Genuinely suits me fine. I'd be more than happy with this scenario and the opportunity for genuine fan input. I have been deeply unhappy with the way things have been since 2009 and have had a gutful. More pleasure is derived from the 'simple' things about being a football fan than all the Premier League riches in the world. British football is due a 'major' adjustment, hopefully we can play a huge part in how a middling side could/should be run?
  3. I watched the second half of your game on TV. Funny as ****, your terrible. When are you twunts going to realise that Cortese is f*cking your club up. Yet you divs bang on about Adkins, poor Tango, it ain't his fault. Look to Nasty Nick and Slimy Les for the problems. At least when your in div 1, no one notices or gives a ****, your soap opera is slowly unravelling for the whole country to see. Anyway you sleuths have had a month now, whats the story with your BVI loan, how much is it for and what is it secured against? Facts not speculation please.
  4. It needed saying. It had to come from one of your own to have any resonance. Nice one. Somethings (Not many) you just dont score points on.
  5. Seriously deluded. None of the Pompey obsessives on here put any Specifics, names or faces to anything regarding the goings on at Pompey other than to correctly bang on about insolvency, cheating the tax payer, cheating on signinbe to gain advantage etc. No specifics at all. I'll ask you or anyone else who wants to prove this point to link to where specifics were mentioned prior to Mike Halls blogs. I knew 'some' of the details but was careful for legal reasons, you lot go on about Pompey's intelligencia, but none of you lot had any specifics so dont f*cking lie! B-)
  6. last post; I usually avoid insults but please dont be an unrealistic sanctimonious knob Danbert. Thats how the morally bankrupt business world operates it is disgusting and covers a far wider forte than irresponsible football clubs. I support a football club, not a church group so save it. I regret what the crims did is all I or any other fan can offer and as scant consolation have seen the club embarressed and shooting down the leagues with penalty after penalty (all deserved), what would you suggest be done, how would what has transpired of been any different if Saints were in that situation, or palace or Leicester or any other team that has bankrupted itself through, gambling, stupidity or worse. I can't answer any of that, i know far more about what goes on in your club than i do my own. I believe the intention is to have a CEO running the club, don't know the time frame and have yet to receive a prospectus or be asked for the £900 yet. No, that would of made a business plan that (without knowing the details of) most ridicule on here as having no substance, even less likely to be workable, so how would you expect the PST to of acted realistically. C'mon I know you're not naive business-wise so why would you expect any business deal to pay anymore than it had to. Morality does not come into it.
  7. No problem with the -10. Only right, I don't think anyone I know begrudges it or believe we will try to wriggle out of it. Of course it's sad that the creditors lose so much money, but it's a problem with the rules which are the same for everyone, including you, so no shock there surely. Also the creditors agreed to the CVA so what else can be done? Going forward we will cut our cloth accordingly and if that means league 2 so be it, not fussed really, after initially liking the top league and becoming 'premierised' the interest soon dropped off (pretty much after your relegation) and then I slowly realised how it's a TV league and in honesty, **** if you actually go. It might be nice to be relevant to other teams TV fans, in workplaces up and down the country or when abroad, it's even exciting the first time you see your team on FIFA, but for the punter on the day, you know the ones who actually attend matches, it's truely ****. I mean you pay twice as much for your season ticket and seemingly play half as many games, nearly always at times when you don't really want to go anyway. Honestly i enjoyed the Championship, now league one and look forward to seeing what league two is like, I started following Pompey in 1992 so have no experience of the lower leagues, gotta say I like it!
  8. As an engineer it's always sad to see jobs like this go, never worked at Fords but did tour it once. An iconic factory building viewed everyday from the M27, apart from the obvious human cost, it will be very sad to see another south coast institution go.
  9. I don't think anyone on here is jealous of Pompey, I can swear on everything dear to me that jealousy towards SFC is something I have never experienced, so I am positive most scummers wont be jealous of Pompey in any way shape or form, in the past or now. Rival fans have a fantastic way of controlling emotions and constrewing them in other ways. BUT, I do believe there is a feeling of ill-will towards a fan takeover on here, which again is understandable. If it fails, more laughs at our expense, if it succeeds, then I think the control we will have over our club will lead to a few fans whimsically wishing they could have the same relationship with their own club. I seriously believe (and I do have impecible, though slightly biased sources) you have a cretin at the helm, a poor leader and a **** of a man. I believe you would be better off in control of your own club. Dismiss it any way you like but it is true.
  10. As an openly Pompey, I don't think there are Pompey fans here pretending to be scummers? Whilst a tactic employed successfully by Scummers on Pompeys MB's, It's not really the Pompey way, though I may be wrong. Anyway NC Out (Time to form a trust fellas!).
  11. They are brave. Mike Hall has long known the 'level' of criminality involved, he is braver than the likes of me, but smart enough to take the risk, so it would also be completely ridiculous to label him stupid. Difficult, obstinate, confrontational, but stupid? No, it's not for me to reveal anything about the man, but he is not your average joe, the fact he has garnered grudging respect from many on here is testament to that. As for the blogs they were timed for maximum effect and clearly at a time when if they hadn't we would be back in the hands of the shysters and no one on here would of wanted that, knowing what it would ultimately lead to, more tax payer right-offs, more creditors being ripped off etc, etc (Though I am completely baffled as to what is most desired on here a PST ownership or a Ballbag one?). So rejoice, you'll stay in the upper leagues, under the bold visionary leadership of NC, bragging rights secured again for a long time and your rivals (we are still rivals right?) spend years trying to sort themselves out with little to no experience of such things, but safe in the knowledge it cannot be as wantonly bad as under previous regimes, it's gonna be difficult involving (we will no longer be just fans) but exciting!
  12. Bump
  13. Yeah, sorry Like most scummers I too like a good poll. I think Nicola Cortese should appoint himself manager, you know, the bloke you all rim on this forum, a truely horrible little man, but very good at his job apparently? I actually feel sorry for Tango, but once your not calling the shots as boss, well what's the point? All change! How's it go? WTFILN, were coming fo you, Tick Tock, karma, blah blah blah blah blah blah........zzzzzzzzzz
  14. Been quite surprised at the goodwill extended by a few Summer mates. Begrudgingly impressed at what the PST has achieved. I feel very proud of the fans efforts and am convinced the PST will complete. I think things will become clear on the finance front shortly. You will be pleased to know that Pompey will be run prudently going forward. No more shame heaped on the club by various crims. We look forward to becoming the biggest community run club in the UK and cementing our reputation as the most loyalest, noisiest, pluckyestbravest, bestest most passionate fans in the land, as the media loves to label us. Good job you guys know the truth eh?!? :-D
  15. Really pleased, its going to be even harder from here on, but finally we will have control back, maybe we will provide you with some laughs along the way! But I have a strong feeling we are gonna deliver. Its ours to **** up now! As for pledges, many more are gonna come in than go out, I will be doubling mine now. Its gonna be interesting!!!! :-D
  16. Yes, I think that's mostly correct, I could not care less if this led to us being booted out the league. It's more than that, it's a battle for our club, if the league deems that the punishments for foreign owners using the club as a vessel to extract money legally and otherwise out the country then fine, should the circumstances prove similar to other clubs thrown out the league (examples?) then sure, do it FL. IF the fans can oust these criminals and win the club back then all the 'good' people who helped build the club over its history's effort will not of been for nothing, Portsmouth we retain it's history (earned and passed down by Jimmy Dickerson, Jack Tinn and all those boys in the old grainy black and white photographs) and people like Mike Hall and the PST and even Durr-brains like me, riding on their coat tails, will be able to proudly say we saw off the criminals, paid off some of the debts (dont forget the fans themselves have already collected thousands to pay back the charity money owed) and took the punishment for THEIR actions, we all know THEY will not be held accountable WHATEVER the final outcome, but if we can save the club from their clutches I can live with that, it would only enhance my enjoyment of being Pompey. But first we have to get the club back and as you can see some people are fighting very, very hard.
  17. So effectively what your saying is we cheated and won the FA cup, you cheated to gain a cometitive advantage to get back to the Prem and ****ed it up. Fair enough, we successfully cheated whereas you **** out, its still trying to gain a competitive advantage. Thank god for bored swiss billionaire eh? Look the whole thing is sick as ****. We may be the worst example of what is wrong, but were gone now, yesterday news. U asked yesterday how much Ramirez was being paid, inc. Bonuses etc. No one answered. Doesnt anyone know? I think its pretty massive? Is this why NC borrowed from a BVI loan shark? Who was it and at what rate of interest? Its big ****ing money isn't it. Sodoes anyone know whats going on behind the scenes at SFC and isn't anyone concerned? Having been proper butt ****ed, i'd want all the details!
  18. Glad to See that some are acknowledging that not ALL Pompey fans are ignorant and rather than cheating for success, they were cheating to wrack up a debt in excess of HMRC's unpaid percentage. Yes we won an FA cup, but that was a fluke, the club pre Gaydamak was ticking along nicely and may of gone on to be a yo-yo club, so we have not benefitted from any of the success but as a fan base we are no different from any other cross section of fans. Very few Micah Halls, a minority of highly sceptical people and a majority that for whatever reason, escapism, stupidity or blind faith, will go along with the official line until is so ****ing obvious that it's too late. Clearly many on here are reasonably intelligent, but if you think this is the average cross section of the Saints fanbase.... well you don't think that do you. What has happened at Portsmouth will happen again, I'd like to think at your club, I won't pretend, but the reality is that with the extreme wealth of the premier league, NC's gamble (and the money you have spent is a calculated gamble), will probably pay off. I think that to **** things up from your position you need to be either incredibly incompetent or criminally purposeful. I don't think NC is either. I do however witness a majority on your main board that are only to ready to believe what they want to believe. It is not a majority of Saints fans pouring over the finances and you know that. If NC had gone to a loan shark in the BVI and borrowed another 10m for a defender, the MAJORITY would see it as a risk worth taking, it's not and most of the people reading this would be of the same opinion. I know a few are confused as to the contradictions in things previously said by NC about debt etc and then taking the extreme step of borrowing from BVI lenders, but again, like Mike Hall said of Pompey fans in 2009/2010, "we (you)don't get to choose". Likewise, neither do you. I know a few Saints fans who are unhappy with the way SFC is evolving under NC, but I doubt they are a majority, a majority drunk on their Premier League return, again this thread is not typical of your fanbase, I know that and you know that. But anyway, As I have said before, I don't blame anyone on here for wishing the worst for Pompey, I am no different if the roles were reversed. So genuinely to those that acknowledged the efforts of a lone Pompey fan, i admire you for taking your red and white (red) kicking boots off for one minute and acknowledging his effort. It's good that Mike Hall's efforts get recognised on here, because these guys that have and do control Pompey are serious pieces of work, not only is Mike a clever, insightful sod, he's a lot flipping' braver than Me and most of the Saints sleuths on here would ever be!
  19. Ridiculous, no one turned a blind eye, there were suspicions, but no more, we knew something was not right and fand DID angrily confronted Jacobs etc on a number of occassions, but like every club, most fans want to believe the best case scenario, it's not a doom and gloom business. I'm sure NC is completely above board, but most Saints fans are content to give the benefit of the doubt over the 'contradictions' on loans etc, only a few question and your all none the wiser. There may be some clever types on here, but there aren't any Mike Halls thats for sure. How much is Ramirez on including bonuses etc? I mean really? Does anyone know? Or are you gonna get upset when it's too late?
  20. I think it's great that Saints fans are asking questions on a messageboard, though not a majority and certainly not me, against popular belief on here, many Pompey fans did. Most noteable being Mike Hall. He has kept tabs for years on irregularities at Pompey, sadly not enough of us listened. Anyway my point being, it's all very well asking questions on a messageboard, but you need proof. It's your club and if you think you can trust NC then you're as stupid as me. Questions that need answering (Preferably backed up with financial statements) include; exactly how much money are you borrowing and when will it stop? I mean how many years now has your outgoings exceeded income, when and how are you going to start clawing it back especially as your clearly not being propped up by the Liebherr family anymore? And here is the biggie I'd be really worried about? How in arrears are you to HMRC? You cant let that one get outta hand I can tell you. These are all questions that need answering, not on messageboards but directly. NC is a very amicable fella who is really open and respectful to the fans so he will be really upfront I'm sure?
  21. Here's my last post. Nope, thats pretty much how it's been run (under the original Israeli owner at any rate). Then the 'others' have taken advantage of our ridiculous business administrative laws to clear off the 'debts'. But where did the transfer money go, seriously. Look at what we spent on player transfers (much of which was renegotiated anyway) and look at what we received. They weren't doing it for the glory, you do realise that right? What do you think their motives were? We accidentally won't he cup, flukey result at Man Utd and ridiculously easy draws. Success for Portsmouth was never on their agenda, it was an accident. I realise this isn't going to be the spin you want, but which do you really think the most likely? An arms dealer and associates using football to do some washing or an arms dealer and associates looking for a club to bring success to? Obviously it's not in the public domain because without concrete evidence who'd risk a law suit? and with so many shysters involved, who do you nail the blame on, its a very clever scam. And one which on a smaller scales has been done before and worryingly, will be done again as this lot will get away with it.
  22. The PST can afford it and have to be a better option than handing it back to one of the series of crooks who have used the club to wash their dirty greens. I've always been careful what i say, but f@ck it. People do realise that that's what it was always all about right? Not buying success, that was an accident or by-product of chucking 100 dirties to get out 10 cleanies. Ah Mr 45 year old African. Of course we can pay you 70k a week, into your bank of Nigeria account? Why of course. And Mr Arsenal Girls name, 45k a week, you don't have to play, it doesn't matter that your perma-crocked. See if your mate Arsehole Camp bellend wants to come here for 110k a week, we can even make most of the money tax free as image rights cos he is such a stud. It wasn't even badly run, it's been run very well, in fact they have pretty much achieved everything they wanted to. Look at the transfer in v transfer out ratio (Clean), ignore wages (dirty). Of course this is now a blueprint for other like minded people at or soon to be at other clubs around the world. Well the fans did get into bed with them I suppose, though I don't remember exactly how we got into this situation? We we're drinking at the bar, they were buying, The first couple of drinks were nice, then it was a blur, and then we woke up. I sure can't remember ever consenting to this butt F@cking! And the truth is, as fans, we behaved no different to any one else in our situation, but you won't buy that. We ain't the first and we sure won't be the last.
  23. Wrong. As someone who hates Pompey, keep your fingers crossed for ChinnySuck. Yep, spot on. Again, you know te score. Help us David Lampitt, you're our only hope! Yes Bull****, whatever you think of the PST financial footing, they have been the model of professionalism, though as its getting REALLY nasty now, the gloves may come off! I fear a civil war amongst Pompey fans. Two separate ideologies on how best to support PFC through a 'New' ChinnySuck Era. I will be in the don't go camp, but I will be bloody annoyed with those that will, although I truely have no right to be. Agree mostly, yet I believe the PST will finance it. For example I pledged 1k, but if needed I can go to 3k and will do, so will many others. More will go in than will come out. Very good. As for the second one, L2 holds no fear for me, in fact if the trust get the club I'd positively welcome it. We are already the only club in the league to of gone from very bottom of the league to the very top, back down to the bottom and all the way back to the top. And now We're nearly halfway through the second cycle!
  24. I dunno really, I enjoy the exchanges. It can get a bit much sometimes and the bile chucked down from a position of superiority seems a bit OTT and cheap/easy, but then I remember when the roles were reversed I wanted Saints to go out of business, I wasn't any better than the most malicious on here, I never vocalised it, but this is your board and I wouldn't of done it, some weird politeness or summink, I dunno? It Didn't stop me from wishing the demise of something much loved by friends and even a large proportion of my family, so carry on filling yer boots, I get it. I also believe 4 or 5 years down the line you'll find an edge missing, but you could of told me that at the time of your near demise and I wouldn't of given a **** so, meh. Premiership, hmm. Ok I'm trying to be honest, loved it at first, loved and hated the Derbies. Saints got relegated, loved it, Pompey start signing 'Superstars', loved it, started obsessing over who we would get next? Reading every bit of media linking us to this and that. Prices started escalating and started to feel that it wasn't worth it and that it was a rip off. My least favourite season was the year we finished 8th, I felt the crowd became spoilt and the atmosphere DEFINATELY declined, the FA cup win was good, but not as good as you would expect. I quite enjoyed the Season we got relegated, it was exciting and the FA cup appearance against Chelsea really good. I can honestly say at this point I was not bothered about being out the Prem. It became cheaper and more games on Saturday, I was so fed up of stupid kick-off times and days. I enjoyed the Championship, but then that was the level I had grown up supporting Pompey at. For that reason I don't believe most Saints fans will become dissallusioned with the prem, it's what many will of grown up with but personally i think the best position to be in is like a West Brom, one year a relegation battle, survive, next year a battle that you lose, then a promotion season, to my mind thats so exciting! I do think the premier league somehow sucks the soul out of a fan base, but I don't think it's been scientifically proven? Nope, I won't. I can't watch the carcass being raped by the Hong Kong dog ****er. Already told my wife, not sure if she'll follow suit, but I will not go whilst Portpin are at the helm. Sorry Pugwash, obviously I was not aware of your experiences. Honestly, this is not what I want. I'd be happy to get my team back into a position where our rivalry would be relevant again, but no excesses, it really didn't suit us.
  25. LOL, you got me! I'm suppa serious about the PST. Trust or Bust. It is disloyal. **** analogy time, How could a parent you try for another son, when the one you got is on life support, cos it got into a car that crashed, driven by some wicked buggers. At this point it CAN be saved. Embarressed by that stupid analogy, but it still holds true. Thanks Chez, but that's another line that cannot be crossed. I'd not go to any matches anywhere, I barely watch football now anyway, its all NFL & College football sat, sun as it is, jaded by our time in the PL and was prior to our Cup win. Prosinecki was 48 when he arrived at FP and smoked 40 a day, still love him! Ramirez will turn out to be a good investment! Might spark off your 'new' rivalry when one of the bigger boys turns his head in the summer.
