I think you need two players for every position - at present we only have 3 players for CM. I think Koeman sees Davies and JWP as playering further forward, so possibly the idea behind this is to give us 4 CMs? And also covering the possibility that while we may not sell Schneiderlin, is he's not really into it then we won't be relying on him?

I would be very very happy with that - especially given how the window started! That would be Pelle Tadic Bertrand Taider Forster Van Dijk Redmond Vlaar Ings Got to assume we won't be able to pull them off - but if by some miracle we did, I will be feeling pretty happy about the coming season.

Or as has already been said - players aren't commited Koeman's told them to sod off and get as much money as we can so he can build his team? Maybe it's clutching at straws, but it's still possible! As annoyed as I am I'm going to wait until the start of the season to judge, and how well the team do. He did work miracles at Feyenord.

This is my view at the moment, and I'm hoping it's right! Which would also fit in with the board saying we are selling players we want to get rid of. Having 8 players who don't want to be there could be more damaging long term!

I'm hoping they reliase they are onto a loosing battle with the current players who were more loyal to the old regime than we may have thought. So getting rid for as much money to rebuild with a group of players who want to play for the current manager. Talking to other fans, they seem genuinly gutted for what's happen to us!

This is the key to me, not just what happens this window, but also January and next window. I would not expect us to spend all the money now, but will be interesting to see what happens further down the line. Also there is no point in spending the money for the sake it it. As bad as it looks now - I'm going to hold fire until I see what our squad looks like next season, and how they perform.

I hope so, would be good to get a few more players in sooner rather than later... What concerns me slightly is the lack of news. But hopefully that's because they have been able to keep everything quiet.

I think she's saying we have 70m - and is saying that if we sell players we couls raise 90m - probably just based on the numbers in the press. Not saying we will spend 70 is we recoup 90! I think that the 90m in sales is unrelated and her just speculating by adding Shaw 40m, Lallana 30m, Louvren 20m
