The phoenix has risen from the ashes. Fantastic team, manager of the highest order, unparalleled supporter base. SFC Class of 2011/12 you are immense and deserve all the plaudits coming your way!!!!! -
Australian Perspective 8:00AM-12:00PM (Now): Wake up and laze in bed trying to finish this Media Law essay I just cannot concentrate on. 12:00-12:30PM: Smoke, Shower, Bacon and Eggs. 12:30-9:00PM: Intermittent essay writing punctuated by alternating anxiety attacks and confident swagger. First of many nerve easing quality local Coopers Sparkling Ales enjoyed along with a Fillet Steak. 9:00PM: Local coverage begins, neighbours get disturbed by passionate rendition of OWTS emanating from my TV and my cheers/howls of anger as this inevitably emotional day progresses.

Absolutely ecstatic, not been able to watch Saints two weeks in succession for what feels like an eternity. 6 Points and it will feel like the Garden of Eden has been opened.

Best game of football I have heard in a long long time, we have to be proud of this 2nd half effort, c'mon just 1 fricking goal you saints!

F*ck these Saints fans sound in amazing voice, my heart is pulsing, cracking game win or lose.

I've tried every remedial effort imaginable and mine still won't work, so very angry right about now
-
Absolutely furious, I've been waiting all day for this game (11:30pm here) and now I get nothing but an error message, grrr.

For anyone that is not aware (I doubt there will be anyone, given the lack of live Saints action down here) Saints v. Brighton is being played live on Fox Sports at 2:30 Monday morning (Adelaide time). going to make for a ***** of a day at work on Monday but it will be well worth it.

Absolutely gutted definitely not the result I wanted to see on my birthday I even ran out on my own party to catch the game. All I can say is that we cannot let this grand club implode. Contrary to what many others think I believe there is great potential in the player base we have at St. Mary's and that games like todays cannot be employed as an appropriate measure of the quality we possess. Alot of players will not have to endure throughout the entire duration of their careers what has transpired at St.Mary's in recent times. Coupled with this the air of expectation which permeated around the stadium cannot have been favourable. I realise that these are professional players supposed to be able to cope with such occurrences but when the existence of a proud insitution and the passion of thousands is in question the scale of nervousness is undoubtedly intensely magnified. When compared with what Charlton had to play for today the contrast could not be more stark. Although it is apparent that even with a cash injection Saints will be playing in League 1 next season the fight is not over yet. I will be awake at 6:00am Wednesday to catch us play Watford as I will be listening to every game to come this season and will remain proud to be a Saints supporter regardless of the outcome. Attached to following Saints is a degree of trepidation mirrored by few other supporters groups in the country yet it is a passion that will not die easily in me, a sentiment I know is shared by many (if not all) on this board. SAINTS FOR LIFE!!!!

Born and bred Aussie, my passion for Saints stemmed from my admiration of their ability to survive in the most arduous of circumstances in the mid 90's, the games at Wimbledon and Coventry come to mind. Will always remain a passionate fan despite my mates constant ridicule of my beloved club hopefully one day things will turn full circle and they can take some of their own back . Oh and 2-1 to Australia on Wednesday with the great Timmy Cahill netting a brace.

Had to leave for work at 7:00am (Aust Time) at which time it was half time and it appeared a 5-0 result was in the offing, pumped to see saga got a run and the lads came back well done Lloyd James who I think has been unnecessarily criticized this season. Honestly its not his fault, just the fact we are devoid of options at RB and he is playing out of position. In the games shown live on TV down in oz he has impressed me with his runs down that right flank, pity it so often leaves us exposed.

adelaide saint replied to ladysaint's topic in The Saints
Sincerely wish we were signing Rukavytsa instead this kid is a gem of a striker so pacy with a good finish scored a very high quality goal against Qld Roar on Saturday night and has done so on many other occasions this A-League season -
Speaking of losing the plot i think im well on the way I just do not understand how we are losing this game with the relative quality we have :confused: I want to break one or many things
