Do you really think we couldn't pick a stronger team that had a chance of winning - maybe SRL and Morgan for example - and still play Hull at home before an international break? Would they be that tired? It makes little sense seeing he didn't rest Lallana, Rodrigues or JWP anyway. Precisely, let's be honest we are not a big club with a squad rotation system are we? In my humble view there's very little chance of top 4 or top 6 for that matter with the squad we have so why throw away a chance to play a quarter final tie with Chelsea? Especially when we play the mighty Hull at hoe and then there's an international break - bloody ridiculous!

That was terrible - no fight, no idea, no chances, no interest and what was all the laughing etc with MP and Poyet at the end all about - pathetic! I think we'll look for a "number 10" creative player to replace Gaston - say Kagawa or Banega - plus another pacey, wide player to play in the Lallana/Rodriguez role - maybe Young or Lennon. Apart from Gaston can't see many leaving just yet - maybe Guly if we make signings?

What an amazing performance from an unassuming loyal and totally committed young player! He deserves to play for France and will do in the future - losing him would be a disaster in my opinion...COYR!!

Sorry what a load of cobblers! It is up to MP whether he speaks to the press in whatever language he likes frankly, but I would love to know how you know why he chooses to speak Spanish? Basically you don't and I agree with Bender in that I would prefer him to speak English as it seems all other continental managers do. The translations are terrible and often I have no idea what he really means or is trying to get across. It will be interesting what the views on here will be if we lose a few games or play poorly, or he makes weird subs etc etc, then I suspect posters will want explanations in English, not Spanish........
