Look at the numbers. Unfortunately a large number of supporters are not convinced at all by this experiment are they? I have seen Brum in the league, Blackpool and Celtic. In all 3 games we played some pretty football without really looking like scoring enough, In the second half we have been outplayed in all 3 matches. The defending has been awful Killer looks like a shadow of himself, Perry is too small and neither full backs look comfortable. KD has been brilliant. Playing so many youngsters is looking a bit silly frankly, and that's why no one's turning up apart from the hard core' However, If a few of the players you mentioned were playing with some of the youngsters.........

FFS we didn't need either player so why add more players when you are trying to get rid of others. Anyway if the loan window has just started what was the point of signing Gasmi until his fitness is proved? This is all a bit surreal!

Thanks for the summary of your info. Just one question, why do you think it won't happen? These things seem to always take an eternity and ther's been no public denials from anyone eg Shearer or Merrington to my knowledge. If Saintlee knew in May that is not long at all really is it? I'm still hoping it's more of a "when" than an "if". Here's hoping anyway.

Waffling on about not having enough strikers, and Killer being injured??? Fair play we played well in the first half, and showed some great touches. I still felt we lacked a cutting edge though. Chris Perry summed up the second half when he said Birmingham stopped us playing in the second half, and we had no plan B. I reckon if you raise the tempo, mark Schneiderlin and Lallana, isolate the wide men, then play through the acres of space between the wide men and full backs we're in trouble! It happened in the Celtic match as well. I didn't watch the other friendlies. I really think we're in serious trouble. Young players will lose confidence, and JP does not cut it for me in the Championship.

Rasiak is a proven scorer in this league and we are giving him to Watford? Why? This is barmy.....unless you want to guarantee a long struggle for survival...does anyone really believe McGoldrick will score 20 goals this season? Sorry you need to stop going on about last season because the season before using experienced players we did ok. Perhap last season was more down to the manager and board than the players. Why is there a better chance of survival with the current team and management set up? We've not beaten a league team yet. I tell you if you want certainty it is if we are relegated and not taken over we are finished!! I suggest people stop getting so damned precious about the young players and acknowledge we need experienced players in the side with them - and I don't just mean Killer, Perry and Davis - or we will be in deep deep **** very quickly... I attended the MLT dinner at Oakley and he stated very clearly that this was his view...

or get relegated go into administration saying how great we would have been.... Successful clubs do not field teams like we did Saturday. If it's to be believed, and we sell Rasiak, Scacel, Euell, Thomas, Davis, Dyer and Killer and Andrew Davies are out god help us! Surely we need a balance of youth and experience? If this continues we will stuggle to even stay in this division never mind promotion.
