I did a £2.50 each-way who would win the leagues bet at the start of the season with Man City 9/2, Saints 18/1, Charlton 7/1 and Crawley 7/2. Does anyone know how they work out the winnings? Avid follower of this thread but scarcely comment. However a debate with a skate fan has made me chuckle. Saying its not their fault as after the fit and proper they put their trust in the owners, had no answer when i asked where the protest was when they won the cup? Tried bantering me for they 8000 attendance for Millwall in the cup, I swiftly pointed out the 4000 they got in the league cup game of similar ilk. Giving it large about that league title in the 1920s and reckons 27 years in the top flight is nothing to be proud of as we won nothing. I can imagine there are many fans like myself, with other commitments on Saturdays (playing football, kids, money etc). Being in the Championship/League 1 is fantastic for us as you can buy on the day so can the decision to go to the game is left to the last minute. Last time in the Prem if you were organised you got a ticket no problem and i dont see this changing. I would rather have to make an effort to get a ticket in a full St Marys than make no effort in an expanded St Marys with a few thousand empty seats each week. The atmosphere of a full ground makes all the difference for me.

Back from the game and wow we looked sensational at times. The interplay between the players and the confidence to play in tight areas is what allows us to create the chances we do. Lallana is just ridiculous at times and Cork's all action game seems to make us tick. Start the 2nd half knew they would come at us we were coping until a rocket from Andrews you can't do much about and the 2nd came from a misplaced pass from one of our players. However we are not Barcelona and must expect that to play this passing way every now and then we will make mistakes. Even during Ipswich's spell we were still dangerous in attack and Lallana had one cleared off the line at 3-1. The subs made an impact Morgans pass for the 4th was worth the entrance fee alone! Went to bournemouth vs torquay today and Thomson best player on the pitch. Never rated him before but he caused Bournemouth loads of problems. Could easily act as cover for the wingers

i don't post alot but we had all this talk about using the academy players etc and tonight i feel we were missing one ex-academy player who i feel could really have done well in this team.....Dexter Blackstock really feel he could have flourished and gave us a bit more bite up front
