  1. If any of you live Poole way I strongly recommend and visit here. http://www.bournemouthbrewery.co.uk/ It's on the Nuffield Estate, pretty much a one-man show and the guy makes some really great beers....
  2. Did this with Errol jr last season and we got there about 11 and hung around until about 1 (I think they all have to be in by then). A long wait but the lad got a good haul of autographs and photos with the players and I still managed to get a couple of pints in before the game (albeit at the Alfred) , waiting until the weather's warmer before we do it again though...
  3. Me too...
  4. Not disabled people, just the trainspotter-types with anoraks... There were also blokes there getting about 10 team photos signed at the same time which were obviously going straight on ebay. Taking the p1ss a little... Would recommend going down early if you've got kids though, my lad thought it was fantastic.
  5. Cheers for the advice folks, it was spot on Me and the boy turned up about 11.40 and he got a pretty good haul of first-team autographs including Nigel Adkins and JC, JF, JH, RL, SDR, DH, KD, BS, JP, RC and some more. A lot of them turned up around one so guessing the info of them having to be in by 1.15 was quite true too. You do get some strange sorts collecting autographs though... Grown adults without kids. Quite a few anoraks on show...
  6. Cheers for the tip! Looking on the other thread that Window Cleaner found for me it looks like they go through the door near the megastore.
  7. Thanks. I knew I'd seen it somewhere. Thought it was on this one though, not the main board. Cheers mush.
  8. This may well have been asked before but I have done a search and couldn't find anything... So, could anyone tell me what time the players arrive at St Mary's on a matchday (3pm kick off, Saturday etc)? Errol Jnr has got an SFC autograph book that he's keen to start filling... Cheers E_S
  9. Soccer Score Centre is very good. I'd also suggest buying a copy of Android Magazine from WH Smiths to get some great app reviews, how-to's and hacks ;-)
  10. I used to be a T.O.S.S.A.
  11. I moaned like f*ck about the bubble trip but it turned out ok. Like Pat said not as much fun as the train but I did actually get in the ground in time for kick off, which is a first. Twice before we've been "kettled" outside for the first 20 or so mins of the game..
  12. Excellent. The boy is well into MatchAttax, he'll go mental over Saints ones
  13. Just a heads up It's a replacement bus service from Bournemouth to Southampton. All the times have changed too so check before you leave
  14. Muhammad Ali! Muhammad Ali! Floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee! Sir Henry knocked you down on your ass in 1963. RIP Henry. And, you're right, you couldn't beat the great smell of Brut. British legend.
  15. Kadeem, a quick google reveals that "Colour me grey" and "river of diamonds" featured Polly Harvey on backing vocal. Got me confused though I thought it was Inspiral Carpets with the "Cool as F C U K" shirts?
  16. ..."and the saints are playing at home today..." Saw them a few times back in the day, probably at the joiners. Not too bad a song IMO...
  17. If so it's reopened after being shut for ages. Although I don't think they've told anyone, me and my little boy were the only folk in there yesterday...
  18. Score in a minute! We're gonna score in a minute!
  19. Just got on myself but had problems... Good to see it's good and reliable again this season /s
  20. Haven't been able to listen on Saints Player. It asks me to choose a commentary and nothing happens. Clicked the Saints button, clicked the Tranmere button... nothing.
  21. Paul stuck about 8 of us in his car one time and drove us to SMS after we'd decided to have "another quick pint". Got pulled by the cops for overloading and fined 60 quid. Refused to take a penny from any of us. Top bloke.
  22. Was going to go to St Mary's today or west quay to the club shop there. Will the boat show traffic make it a pain in the ass to get there? (I live in Poole)
  23. I'm from Poole too and get some stick from Bmth fans. As I tell them, no-one cares enough about AFCB to hate them. They have no local rivalry so they try to claim one with saints where none exists. You see about the same amount of saints shirts as you do cherries ones round here although there have been a few more blue skate shirts surfacing in the past couple of years... but very few.

    Saints TV

Godammit! I'm paying over the odds for this as it is...
