Agree with Super_Saint. Ambitions at the club are at an all time high and Pochettino is showing no sign of relaxing his demands even the slightest. A European adventure would come at a high prize though, but nice to see the position we're in. Hopefully we'll consolidate our position, let some of the youngsters get some PL experience and be ready to go even higher next season.

In my view, this has nothing to do with relegation as such. It has more to do with hubris. We've just surfaced after the worst years in history. We're not even mathematically safe yet, and already we're gloating in the misery of others. Relegation is no laughing matter for those involved. It's a bit like laughing at the drowning kid. Also, these things have a tendency of coming back to bite you in the a*se when you least expect it. Having supporting Saints for all these years, I'm afraid of jinxing even the slightest bit of good fortune we have.

Ramirez had an off-day at the office, that's all.... We've got better depth in the squad at the moment, due to the fact that more players are hitting their best form in years at the moment. To write off the one player not reaching his best form and potential at the moment... after 3 wins in a row... is just fickle.

Didn't Grobbelaar get fined for match fixing for games back in the 90'is. Seem to remember some of the games was while he was at Saints. Explains some of the terrible defending going on at times back then.

It's not so much, that he predicts us to loose. It's the fact that he's now done it 15 times in a row, that makes me want to go ballistic..... But then again... It's only Lawro, and who really cares about him? We're getting better and better with each game under Pochettino, we're coming off back to back wins against Liverpool and Chelsea and we're 12th at the moment. As long as the squad is focused and concentrating on Reading, then I really can't be bothered about a pundit.

Have seen too bloody many Great Escapes to feel anything but safe at the end of a season.... That said, I have a good feeling about Pochettino not letting anyone rest before the final whistle of the last game.

Was watching the game yesterday and something weird hit me, as we were defending our lead in the second half. I didn't get the usual "Oh-please-please-please-just-hang-in-there-for-life"-reaction, I've been used to for the last 18 years, supporting Saints. Cool and composed at the back. Clyne and Shaw working brilliantly and just no real sense of imminent danger.

Classic example on this board. A player scores against MK Dons but clearly hasn't the skill for the higher level at the Premiership, but fans are so sentimental that naturally he deserves another chance. If Forecast had kept a single clean sheet, there would be people calling for him starting in goal vs. Man Utd.

It normally takes 4-5 posts on a thread before the discussion turns ugly and filled with personal attacks and random remarks about something completely different.
