Matt Phillips has disappointed me quite a bit. Was a massive talent while playing at Wycombe. Has done little at Blackpool to progress further. At 22 he should have been much more developed, but seems like he has found his level. Don't see that many transfer rumors or new potential clubs at a higher level for him. Seems to have fizzed out a bit.

Seeing as Poch had a career as a defender, I'm sure it's in his blood and nature to get stuck in.

My point is this: With Yosihda, Fonte and Hooiveld all ahead of him in the current pecking order, it doesn't seem like he's any better than what we've already got at the club at the moment. Injuries and fitness level aside, he should have been challenging at least Jos a long time ago. The jury is still out of course, but the longer he waits, the less likely it seems, that he'll push Jos or Fonte back in the pecking order.

The only reason for this article is the fact that Solskjaers Molde, who won the Norwegian leauge last year, has started with four straight losses this season. So they're trying to drum up a "Forren back to Molde"-issue, which is just a waste of time. Hopefully Forren still has something to offer to Saints. It does seem like time is starting to run out for his chances.

I can name the first five: Shaw, Clyne, Morgan, Cork and Rodriguez. The future is looking bright! ...and Lallana, Lambert and Boruc is also there!

Not next year! Would rather consolidate and build on survival this season, with a European push as target next year (maybe through the FA Cup) and a larger settled squad.
