We are not Portmouth!
-
I'm going to me that is all that counts. With people travelling from afar, those who can't be bothered and live locally should maybe look at themselves and not get on their high horses when we get to Wembley again etc.

Who should we get in as Lambert's back up?

Sweedish international, good touch for a big man. -
This is very very sad news as he was such a nice guy. I did not know him of course but everything I saw and heard of him makes me have great respect for him. As for the club, well looking at other clubs who have gone through similar situations (Chelsea, Blackburn, Getna) we do not have the same potential as when he was alive (unless of course we get another investor like Chelsea did after Mathew Harding’s death). Having a friendly billionaire fall in love with your small club (we are league 1 don’t forget), from a medium city in the English countryside doesn’t do any harm at all. Even if he established a trust fund, this probably won’t be as much as if he were alive and could give the go ahead on a whim to refurbish the training grounds etc. On that subject, as the training ground redevelopment was “being bankrolled by Markus” I wonder if this did/will have any effect on it. One thing is for sure, we are in a much better position than we were 14 months ago and that is down to him.

Yes it is!

Don't be so negative! We need at least a choice. What happens if one drops? What do we have as cover? Pardew out!
-
No their not. Well they never used to be until NC rolled up with his Swiss roll and fondue set.

My source tells me that someone looking like a Spanish version of Rocky Dennis’s cousin has just walked into Stapplewood and chest bumped Adam lallana. He tells me that the ink is all but dry on this new contract and the announcement will be on the official site at 11:23 tonight, three minutes after the echo go to print. He will then be given a free transfer exactly 24 hours later just to make the echo look stupid. Saints will then make a move for Sylvester Stallone as a stand in keeper for Bart due to some video footage seen at the training ground. I can’t reveal my sources but they are very high ranking team members that have played more preseason friendly minutes than any other player. Dooh you know it is Pullis now don’t you?

Darren Carter playing for us tonight. -
This is exactly why it should be left to the fans. Bring back the good old days!

Coporatate tickets are a complete rip off outside of the strange world of finance. Me and the co owner of our business are saints fans. Therefore a company outing to Saint Marry's down as a tax write off seems like a bargain. it is all down to who is paying. The thought of stu greengrass saint joining our company jolly and eating my share of the buffet does fill me with dread though.

Away fans in the Chapel/Kingsland Cornner?

Being brutally honest, forgetting about who is posting this but who is disappointed by the ticket office? -
To be milked by the aliens when they return to earth to reclaim the piramids. Seriously, it's an evolutionary kick back. While in the woomb females and males are almost the same, the basic chest area develops early, before the sex has been established.

You don't have to live IN Stoke to play for Stoke. South Cheshire is one of the nicest places to live in the UK, From Buxton to Alderly Edge, all very nice and just up the M6 from Stoke.

Under 15’s should not be allowed to play on a full side pitch. They should play on small 5 a side pitches and learn about touch and technique. I remember as a kid playing on a full size pitch (or very close to) and the tactic being the big kid at the back kicks it hard behind the defence to the fast kid up front. The bigger the kid at the back and the faster the kid at the front the better the team. Having watched some junior football last year, it appears to be the same situation now. The team manager shouting “clear it” “get rid of it” “push up” and the all time favourite “get it to them!”. The result of this was evident on Sunday when James Milner’s first touch was so bad he even got tackled by the referee. The media always say it is passing, it’s not, the passing is fine it was the first touch. During this world cup our second touch was nearly always a tackle. It has nothing to do with passion either or the singing of the national anthem. It is down to ability, style of play and technique. All of this needs to be addressed at grass routes level. We don’t need kids playing on a giant pitch with an idiot shouting instructions.

He was in shock that another world cup squad has been named without him. Seriously, bring him on with 2 minutes before the penalties. Lets face it at least 5 or 6 of the 23 won't get near the pitch. He was in shock that another world cup squad has been named without him. Seriously, bring him on with 2 minutes before the penalties.
