I'll enter Tokyo-Saint's brother: PSN: Saint---Robbie When is the tournament? -
I was in Tokyo at the time they (NK) were test firing missiles. They were supposed to go over Tokyo and land in the pacific as a kind of warning to japan and to annoy America (japan don't have a standing army but instead over pay the US for proection). Luckily these long range missiles were similar to the fireworks I used to buy from Mr. Shar's corner shop underage. They went up, spun around for a bit then landed close to where they took off. They have nukes but they capacity to fire them is still unknown.

To answer the posts: 1) I moved from Southampton to Tokyo (make of that what you will if you follow the same logic). 2) The in the main don't hate the English. I have been there many times and any banter (which would have been against me as I am English knob ends) is Tongue in cheek. Not anywhere near the level we hate Pompey but still might go for a beer with a pokey fan if it was your sisters new boyfriend for example. 3) North sea oil from off the coast of Scotland has raise far more money for the UK economy than England could ever pay for Scotlands social services or whatever. Hense the popularity of the SNP, a small number of their votes may fall into the ukip mood but most are just ****ed of at the amount of money that has gone to London with little in return. 4) although I lived in Tokyo for 5 or so years, I now live in London. I vist both japan and Scotland for work and to see friends regularly though. This means I do not need anyone to put me up (thanks for the offer though) and also I can comment on saints games, as in the most part I would have seen the game. I can rarely be bothered to pont this out to the "how many games have you actually seen?" gang on the main board. To throw it back to you, of those criticising Scotland, how many of you have actually been?

It is very under rated by little Englanders who have never been further north than Winchester. Beautiful places, friendly people, nice pubs, slower pace of life etc

Do you look or dress anything like stato from fantasy football? I imagine you as him but with more of a patronising tone.
-
"Because he is listed as favourite personnel. I think he was quite popular when he was here, was the current England keeper, he is even in the banner on the the Saints Web Forum!" I'm not saying he is not a club legend, just that he doesn't tend to comment about saints. There is a way of setting favourite personal to not comment (as happens with dead favourites) or it would be a good idea to set how much someone comments. I.e. Le tissier or Dowie may comment very often as they work in he media.

Why does Peter Shilton comment on saints games? I've never known him to talk about a Tranmere danger man to the echo before. I agree that Lallana and Chamberlin need to be improved. I would like to know if the full game will be more stable? I can't go back to the old ways of 2003 having to auto save every couple of weeks, replay games you have won etc. Also is the fact that we spent over £1m on lambert and just under £1m on fonte last Season not evidenced enough that Cortese would sanction a budget of £1m this season? I'd be supprised if Adkins said "I want x player for 1.2m" and cortese said no.

Just done the pre season, first game 2-0 up after 12 minutes, happy days? No! The game has crashed and no way out. Not good for a demo, how do I know this won't happen with the actual game? Nit a dig at you Matt but if you could pass on the feedback, is be grateful.

Why no Ward-Prowse? Too young? Isn't he set to be one of our stars of the future?

Ideally it should include something about giving brazil football 125 years ago and then they gave us back Gully in return.
-
They have something similar at Stamford Bridge. There they have a photo (life size) of the first team, and a chair in front of it. When you sit on the chair and take a photo is (slightly) looks like you are in the team. It is very popular with kids and tourists. I'm sure Turkish and stu romsey saint will love it.

I'm going to take my ball home.

Or the reserves!

David McGoldrick and BWP assaulted a fan 2-3 years ago

I heard that Lambert throw the first punch but missed. Then Lallana steamed in but over exerted himself and got injured. This left Barnard to do all the work. He got off to a slow start but with a change in tactics got the job done in the end.

Preston's 125 year anniversary shirt was never going to catch on. -
This is a bit like argueing which nutter is the most mental at the looney bin. My money is on the Muslims, facing east each day, blowing themselves up etc but let's face it they are all nuts.

Just how/why did pre-season turn into such a shambles ?
Tokyo-Saint replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
It was said at the meal Cortese had with some fans, although not in those words. If someone from inside the club did tell him, I wouldn't pay too much attention to it. His info is usually way off.
