I noticed the same thing, last week against Hartlepool. At one point he had the ball on the edge of the area and at least 4 or 5 pool players were trying to close him down. It looked a bit like that famous pic of Maradona against Belgium. He then was able to keep the ball, change direction and shift it to the over lapping Dan Harding. I said to my mate at the time, just having him on the pitch creates so much more room for the likes of Gully and Lambert.

Any Cheshire based Saints on here?

I agree with the above. Deppo there is a section for muppets, could you please keep your unfunny comments to that section. FWIW I received medical treatment in Thailand after an NHS balls up. I was having stomach pains and went to Winchester Hospital. They ran a load of tests and said there was nothing wrong with me. I went backpacking in Thailand and kept having the pains. Went reluctantly to the Thai hospital fearing it would be a dive but it made Winchester hospital look like something from WW2. They said that I had gall stones and because they went untreated, I had developed a stomach ulcer. All of this missed by Winchester hospital after a day of tests. I guess money does really talk over there, however the medical care was supprising far suppior to our own.

Dare we ask, what's your opinion of marcel desailly?
-
We don't care about you, We don't care about you, WE ARE SOUTHAMPTON, We don't care about you. Would sum it up for me.
-
Can we also get a couple of people with trumpets and drums to stand at the back of the Northam and dictate every song that we sing? That would just complete our transition to an absolute no Mark club. FFS why do clubs do this crap? It must be in some sports science phycology book somewhere, no doubt written by an American.

Sorry but after what he said after the Japanese tsunami, I have my own opinion of him.

No need to worry about VAT at the moment. I am not an expert asI work in student travel so mostly exempt, however I believe you can earn about £70K before you get charged yourself. If you think you are going to make more than £70K this year then you should add it to your invoice, if not then just leave it to keep things simple.

I am co-owner of a small company. I would advise making up a professional looking invoice with the heading from your headed paper. I would make it up into a PDF and send it over. As the company are a big company, I would give them over the top levels of customer service, calling up to check how they are getting on etc. You never know they might come to you again and again.

I drive down to Southampton from London for games and actually think that getting out of London is worse than ever. Maybe it isn't lack of people driving but urban migration due to employment. Half tongue in cheek but seems like the whole of the country is out in London on Saturday's as I try to make my way to St Mary's.

Let's just be happy we have avoided relegation. We can spend another couple of years rebuilding and then perhaps (as long as we don't draw away from home) we can make a push for promotion. Having looked at the run in last night, nobody has it easy and I think there will be a few more twists and turns yet.

GU-LY wherever you may be, You eat Cats in your home country (pretty sure they do, but might need to change this line) It could be worse, you could be a skate And take your own sister out on a date

I’ve been getting two different stories here. Saints say the only way to do it will be to go to the ground early and buy them but that there are only 150 left and may well sell out before tomorrow. Charlton said that although I can’t but tickets from the saints end from them there should be loads of tickets available and just come down on the night and pay cash. Then there is the saint official site…. Is it possible that Charlton didn’t give the saints ticket office the full allocation. I know the away end at Charlton is pretty big, maybe they just send through 75% of the tickets of which we have 150 remaining, the other 25% will be on sale on the night. Or am I just completely grasping at straws and will either spend the night in the Charlton end or listening to Dave Merrington.

Im going to try and buy tickets on the night. Does anyone know if this will be possible and how many tickets we have bought or are left?

My friends in Tokyo are reporting that things are getting back to normal. Kids playing football, bars full on a Friday night etc. Many of them have been volunteering at centres, packing up food parcels, Blankets and stuff like that. It's being reported on the Japanese news that one of their major baseball stars, Ichiro has donated 100 million yen to the relief effort (about £1,000,000). Would like to think that out footballers would do the same if such a disaster happened in England but I can't see John Terry doing it somehow. In the Real Madrid shop they are selling Japan shirts will all of the money going to the cause as well.

No. LBC reported this week that the whole tube system had only worked perfectly for 1 day in the last 12 months.

Loads of sarcastic Pr!cks on here which is the major reason this board has gone so down hill in the last year or so. However, just before Adkins joined us Pressman was at Saint Mary’s scouting saints. This is when there most people on here seemed to think that Martin O’Neil was sharing a Guinness with NC. He is obviously very close to NA and NA trusts his opinion so I would not at all be surprised to turn up on our staff somewhere.
-
Sorry know it is Adkins but my iPhone does predictive text and often makes me look like a numpty. Well done getting in there before Matthew Le God though, now that is impressive.

S****horpe have sacked their manager and former first team coach (under Atkins) Ian Baraclough. Keven Pressman plus another I couldn't catch have been asked to leave as well. What are the chances that at least one of these turn up at Saints? Didn't NA want them when he first moved but they stick with Scunny as they were given a promotion and wanted to have a go as manager.

Thanks sue and Phil, good to know I'm not over reacting. When you see places and things you recognise being absolutely destroyed, it's much more 'real' to you than other news. As I was typing the message my fiancé was watching the news with a tear in her eye. If I ever meet you depo you will regret it.

Over hyping or not, I can confirm that Tokyo has very limited lighting, water and the shops are empty. That video goes to show that unless you live next to a massive hill, there was absolutely nothing you could do. Until I saw that I though you would be ok in the upper floors of a large/tall building. Shows what my earthquake training taught me, nothing. My mrs has been obviously shocked over the last few days but I'm glad to say all her family and friends are fine.
