  1. Probably the quickest would be to park in Brixton (residence bays will be free on Sundays) and take the Victoria Line in. Park on somewhere like Ferndale Road or near the Academy, it will be perfectly safe.
  2. Forget about them, they didn't keep up.
  3. Exactly! The whole place is a fecking toilet.
  4. I'd need a bigger bag....bag for life size. Any ideas?
  5. The trouble with being a wind up merchant Dune is that people are never really sure when you are being serious or not. I will take it at face value and tell you that despite her many problems she was not a gambling addict. I would say I would bet my mortgage on it but feel it would be taken as a pun in bad taste. She had many problems and if anything she was addicted to trying to keep her youth. I am not sure what you think but I think it is unusual for a woman in her 30's with a 13 year old child to go out drinking/clubbing 2 or 3 times a week. I know you may now think she had an alcohol problem but she didn't, she is just an idiot who wants to have a good time as much as possible. When the money runs out she then thinks the world 'owes' her. It is people like her that keep the daytime TV/Radio full of adverts for quick loans and personal injury solicitors. Now-a-days the adverts practically say, "Sitting at home during the day watching TV? Want to keep this lifestyle but can't figure out how? Why not blame an accident that was probably your fault on someone else? Contact Ambulance Chasers for you NOW!"
  6. Has anyone ever seen Dune and Turkish in the same room?
  7. Exactly. I used to work with (manage) this fecking ***t girl who would always moan about money. She would hark on about getting a pay rise despite the fact she had only been at the company 7 or 8 months and overall did her job at best averagely at worst badly. Anyway, I did not know this but she repeatedly went over my head to ask HR for a sub (loan) to see her through to pay day. Anyway, after about 4 months of this, they refused and told her she should manage her own money better (it was well known that she went out drinking 2 or 3 times per week). She kicked up a massive fuss moaning about it all morning. The next this I saw walking past her desk is that she is on wonga.com playing about with the sliders. I thought she must be desperate, I felt slightly sorry for her but then remembered that she plssed the money away so stopped myself from offering her the cash. Her mood then swung back again and she was all happy, making arrangement with the others for a 'few drinks after work'. This reconfirmed to me that she was a muppet. Later that day, I looked over and she was playing online bingo with her new found money. To me it is unbelievable that someone would take a loan out at 4000+% interest and then gamble it on some bingo site in the afternoon when they should/could have been working. To then have think she can then either borrow money from the company (happend again the next month) or ask for a pay rise (again) was beyond belief. However, the world is made up mostly of muppets and idiots and this is how these companies not only stay in business but make a huge profit.
  8. Why would he predict good times for a drink?
  9. Even saints player seems to have stopped working.
  10. This was suggested ages ago but never took off: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?31444-Song-for-De-Ridder/page2&highlight=balotelli+steve Make it happen.
  11. I voted about 6 times. What does the winner get? A biscuit?
  12. From the BBC - Lampitt reiterated his desire that Cotterill's replacement should have knowledge of the English game and preferably experience of the Championship. But he added the new manager must like to play attractive football, be keen on player development through the club's youth programme, be expected to work on a tight budget and able to work the loan system. Lampitt added: "Hopefully we are closer to the end of the process. "It is an incredibly important decision for the future of the football club and we want to get it right. "It continues a case of wanting to do it as soon as we possibly can but we will not be rushed and we will make the decision at the right time." It does not sound like they will be splashing out on any big signings soon. On the plus side they do not mention he must have a good knowledge of DIY and general plumbing skills.
  13. Nothing to wear.
  14. Just got back, kids were fine, Cork too small to be a centre back but good on the ball. The only reason I would request maybe a couple of quid back was Forte who is not really a footballer. Would have prefered to see Sinclair up front and have Lost 3-0 - as would have thought it was for the greater good. Possibly gone the whole hog and put Shaw in at left back as well.
  15. Usually Dune is just on a bit of a wind up, but this time I completely agree. I live about £40 worth of petrol away and feel like we are already being punished for not living in Southampton by having to get the coach from there. Not posting the tickets really is inexplicable.
  16. Must be then, MLG wouldn't make a mistake..... Would he?
  17. Why would someone want to hurt dogs just to steal some cornflakes? Broken Britain! Complete scum if you ask me.
  18. Stone Roses reforming, Nigel to reminisce over Spike Island.
  19. Sorry MLG but you walked straight into that one. Have you not noticed Dune has recently tried to reinvent himself as a troll? If in doubt see the thread on ticket allocation for Skates away. He repeatedly states we would not sell out our allocation despite tickets having gone to a ballot. The only way the tickets won't sell is if they continue to put people off or make it too difficult to go i.e. only open to season ticket holders. Nobody took his bait there, try to ignore here.
  20. I had a bit of a bust up during my appraisal in my previous company. The MD said lots of good things about me, said I was doing a great job etc but said I dont work as late as the other managers. My argument back was that if my results were as good as their or better what does staying late matter? If they had to stay late to do the same stuff I can do in more or less 'normal' time, then it is their 'fault' that they have to stay late. I drew the line at telling them one of the girls sits and plays FarmVille all day then stays till 9pm complaining about her work load so the directors thought she was a hard worker. Sad ****** is what I thought of her. I now have my own company and work hard/late when we are busy to get the job done but if it is quiets we finish early for a drink. I also, whenever possible let everyone watch the big events I.e. we had the Wimbledon semi finals on in the background and people where free to sit and watch a bit as their schedule dictated. I think if someone was taking the **** though I would get ****ed off and that's when you have to impose rules. So far I have been lucky.
  21. Agree with you here Dune. I don't live locally, was prepared to drive down to get on the bingo bus, just to drive home in the other direction again. However, the extra trip down to pick up the tickets is a real pain. Why can't they just post them like they do with other tickets or better still a print out version?
  22. Well if we are saying I told you so, put me down too.

  24. I helped out 5 saints web forum members with club Wembley tickets for the JPT final, so.... If any season ticket holder can help me out buy letting me use their season ticket to book a ticket or 2 for this match please let me know. mccalljames@yahoo.com worth a couple of drinks.
  25. If there is not a fence separating us from the skates there will be a police line. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't let one coach in at a time, then straight in the ground for that lot and move on to the next coach. The Skates won't be able to get near us and therefore neither will you. You got a plan B? Maybe a nice pub in Fratton.
