Outfits and shopping lists for the new season

I think that is where the money is. The two guys I know both have wives and kids so well past the stage of wanting to impress people (especially on here) over making money to support their families. It is like when you look back at music sales in the 90's and find that Shania Twain sold more than Blur and Oasis put together. You would have gotten a lot more kudos being the manager of Oasis but a lot more money getting 10% of whatever Shania was earning banging on about mens shirts & short skirts. -

Outfits and shopping lists for the new season

You are correct. As I said I know two of the owners, one of them really well. They are both mid 30's as I am and they don't wear their own stuff unless it has an advantage to it. You have to dress your age. Also form a business point of view, you have to sell as many as possible. They do have interests in other labels, some more exclusive than others. I don't work in fashion but understand it is a bit like having a portfolio of shares, having interests in different brands at different ends of the market, targeting different people. -

I was going to. Interesting read as haven't looked on this thread for ages. I think he would just be pleased it is being talked about on a football forum. They have obviously grown very quickly in the last couple of years. I think it is targeted at being a bit chavy or at least having a bit of an edge to it. A lot of the original designs where based on drugs, dove T-shirts etc. The best man at my wedding also has a share in this company and works in fashion. He got Mike Skinner wearing this a few years ago, probably says a lot about who they are targeting. I doubt Dune or the maths teacher fall into their target market. -

My mate owns this label, Cardiff fan. -
Couldn't agree more. I only come on here for the fashion advice but keep getting waylaid by all this carp about some team called saints. I mean come on, red and white is so 2007 and if not done properly can clash with my superga trainers.

So what? You spoiled one day, she'll spoil the rest of your life. Call it quits

Is this the set up for another joke?

Croatians had a fight in the main square before yesterdays game as well.

They are happily married now living in Brighton.

I bet you a dollar it won't work.

The story has more holes in it than turkish's socks. For example if the fight broke out at 3am, why was there still lobster around to be thrown? Wedding 'breakfasts' are usually pretty early on in the day, if they started fighting then and were still going at 3am, maybe he is the type of player we are after.

I'm going to be the only person to say that I didn't really like it. Maybe i was too young when I went but thought it was full of rude Americans, the same crap shops (gap) on every street. Ordered a round of double vodkas in a club and they looked at us like we were mental. Light weights. All just from my experience of course, I'm sure the rest of you had a great time.
-
I was going to put that as well but couldn't spell Abercrombie as I have hardly ever seen it written. Maybe you can get some new cargo pants at banana republic and get a brand no one else has in southampton. Go on, dare to be a trend setter!
-
You'll love it. Take an empty suitcase and stock up on on those gap hoodies you love so much.

Rivers are bursting their banks causing floods, however I believe that underground reservoirs are still slightly low. We are in drought but this is expected to change in the next couple of months. Infrastructure still needs massive investment though.

It's like rain on your wedding day or a green light when you're already late. All threads in Celtic and Rangers go the same way. Some people argue for either side, dell days comes in with a story of how he was give. Sh*t by some Catholics in Glasgow while out on the **** with a load of service men (ignoring all the trouble service people usually cause when out on the ****), dune cracks another amazing joke about Tarmac, the thread is then locked without explaination as the mods don't understand the topic but know it can be a hot patato. Mods may as well lock now to say time and put a ban on more threads like this, the closer to the build up to the match with the Glasgow skates gets.

It depends on your budget, there are plenty of nice hotels but much more expensive. My trip down there was just a cheap weekend away, not really a holiday of any kind, £20 a room or something similar. The hotels in town where roughly £100 per night so would have put the cost of the trip right up. Trust Lenny, the stay was very comfortable. Loads of good small towns around bath as well, plenty of places to stop if you are driving.

I like Cook and I like Muhammad but which one would I like to represent us in the Olympics? Only one way to find out..... FIGHT
-
I went there with the Mrs last year. We stayed in a premier inn just on the outskirts for next to nothing and drove into Bath. Really good if like me, you are into Roman history. The Roman baths are well worth a trip, some decent pubs around as well and enough little shops to keep her happy without it driving me nuts.

brilliant Dune. Once again well done. You make a good point in an intellectual way but with a cutting slice of humour. I'm surprised I haven't seen you on 'Have I got news for you' .... or have I?
