Cameron's my local MP so the ultimate safe seat. Our council and town councils always return Labour though.

I don't particularly like the bloke but this is a patently ridiculous statement. Take a few minutes to read what he says and he clearly does.
-
Why's that relevant to the rest of the post? Strange detail to include.

My children are approaching the age of gaming which is all the reason I need to get a Wii U. We've had fun playing Rayman Legends on Xbox One so far but I think I need Mario Kart 8 in my life. Not sure the other half will agree though. Time to test her resolve.

Ah, I see - you've tweaked your original post to suit your argument. Well done. You said 'few' in your first post - this seems unlikely I think. This is changed to 'most ordinary people' in the second. A subtle but important difference. In summary, your first post is the foolish one. I don't disagree with the second.

Pat Murphy's a tool too. Self important ***** - not quite on a par with Alan Green though.

What a crock of ****. Plenty of people are put under/put themselves under a huge amount of pressure in their work lives. Just because he's a football manager doesn't make his job any more pressured than many other people. Anyway, that aside, the bloke is clearly a slightly unhinged bellend.

Schniderlin to spurs for players plus cash???
TheCholulaKid replied to Turkish's topic in The Saints
He's terrible. If it did happen (which it won't) that would be the worst swap deal ever. Probably. -
Secret In Their Eyes - good but not as good I thought it was going to be. Ricardo Darin was excellent as usual. Worth checking him out in 'Nine Queens' if you can deal with subtitles.

It's not on Highway 1 but if you're in that neck of the woods you'd be mental not to do Yosemite.

I agree. The post above stated a 5-10 goal AM, though. My point was that at the top end of that bracket (9-10 goals) a AM is hard to come by especially for a club who sits where we do in the pecking order. We can't compete with Spurs (although hopefully that will change over the next couple of years!) and Walters is a striker. Not sure I'd be too over the moon about Barnes or Boyd shipping up here (prefer Barnes over Boyd though). I'd like Naismith (can we compete with Everton, though?) If we can get another 5 goals out of midfield and another 5 from Mane (he's only on 6) we would look a lot more potent going forward. Hopefully with a season under his belt Tadic will improve next season. I think Elia's worth keeping as a squad player. If we get Vilhena then maybe he can make a difference.
-
So, 7, 8 or 9 goals then? That'll be Toure (, Mata ( and Cazorla (7) this season. Again - out of our league. I'll give you Ki though (7 goals). Otherwise, there's Henderson, Gerrard, Mirallas and Oscar (all 6). My point is not to have a dig - but it is really difficult to find players capable of doing that who are likely to come to us. Although most people will consider Tadic's season to have been hit and miss (myself included) 4 goals in the league is actually pretty good.
-
It is what we need, I agree - but 10 goals is pretty ambitious. There are only 3 players who fulfill that kind of role who have hit that many this season (Hazard, Eriksen, Silva) - none of whom are the calibre of player we can attract.

Post-Match Reaction: Stoke City 2-1 SAINTS
TheCholulaKid replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
It wasn't brilliant but much better than the Stoke support - apart from the 2 goals I think they sang once. Such is modern football. -
Just in case this thread gets pulled up again next year. We (2 of us) went to The Glebe yesterday. Fine ales and the locals we spoke to were friendly. However, we got a couple of looks and I reckon if you were in a group of 5 or more you might get some unwelcome attention. Didn't make it to the White Star but I'd say similar discretion is advised. Couple of mates of mine spent their time drinking in Hanley (where Coachmakers Arms is) and this is probably more relaxed.

And the old bloke in the suit who spend 80 mins of the game asleep - ****ed presumably. Thought JWP looked good for the first few minutes after he came on. Stoke fans were shockingly quiet for 85 mins. -

We deserved no more than a point from a terrible game. Kudos to the fashion kid in front of me with the ginger 'fro and grey brushed cotton Nike 2 piece. -

From the past: Paris Angels The Heart Throbs Current: I do still think that everyone should try and see Hookworms live - chest crushingly loud. -
I liked it - didn't get round to watching all of it though. It's got French women in it which is good too. Just about to start watching Boardwalk Empire. Have also finally got round to ordering the boxset of Oz (HBO prison drama) - never quite sure why this doesn't get the nods it deserves. Not on a par with the Sopranos/Wire but it's not too far short. Pretty brutal, mind.

Saints website getting politicised?

By inference, all Tories have small cocks and are unattractive to women. Sounds about right. -
Top 4 chance now gone? Europa Thoughts?
TheCholulaKid replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
Like I said - highly unlikely. A win at Stoke next week will keep it interesting though. Based on fixtures remaining we've probably got a better chance of catching United. All fun.... -

If City lose tomorrow.....it could come down to us v them last day of the season. Would need Liverpool to lose (probably at Chelsea away). Highly unlikely I'll admit but not beyond the realms of possibility. -
Hahaha. Truly mental!
