Post Match Reaction: Chelsea 3-1 SAINTS
TheCholulaKid replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Most keepers wouldn't have saved the second. Down too slow for the 3rd but Lovren's fault anyway. Gazzaniga looked quite assured overall, pleasingly. People will still slate him. Osvaldo was anonymous though. Deserved the result. Tuesday is a big game if we want to stay on track. -
This. Same usual posts from the same usual ****tards. Why the **** Delldays ever thinks he has anything worthwhile to contribute to these debates is beyond me.
-
Interesting that there's a link to this article underneath that was published yesterday: http://www.footballfancast.com/football-news/southampton-star-adapting-well-to-english-football Such a crock of **** these websites.
-
Not surprising when his home crowd resort to sarcastic cheers when a pass reaches its target. Poor really (both Fox and his vocal detractors).
-
Think it took us until December and 15 games to get 14 points last season. That's progress.
-
That's got to be a joke, right? A better paper? It's just as ****ing bad. Incidentally, that 'different editor' has been lined up to take over from Dacre when he eventually goes (although events recently haven't reflected well upon Geordie Greig - shame)

Global warming really is happening... (well, duh!)

Yep. This post pretty much sums it up. Idiots at both ends of the political spectrum need a firm kick in the balls. Still, while the Tories and their ilk are being bankrolled by petrochemical multinationals (and there's still money to be made from fossil fuels) then there'll never be a sensible debate played out in the mainstream media. Morons - the lot of them. -

This is not how science 'works'. This is not what science 'does'. An utterly naive and embarrassing viewpoint that only serves to highlight your ignorance of how scientists reach conclusions. -
BBC might axe the "Sky at Night" prog

Have a look at your bosses. Or your bosses' bosses. -
And that's why Talksport is mong radio......if Lallana makes it to Brazil then England really are very poor.
-
Bravo, Chapel End Charlie. Argument won - hands down. I personally don't have the patience to deal with the prejudiced braindead on here - some of whom should definitely know better (you know who you are)
-
Quality, cheers mate. Nearly got crushed to death under a mountain of bodies under the East Stand when that went in. Here it is: Got robbed in the replay at Carrow Road....
-
Shouldn't need to ask that, surely? Bolton at home FA Cup replay after they'd gone ahead in the last minute...
-
I ****ing loved that goal. Think I've only ever seen it once since the moment it went in....that needs to be on Youtube somewhere.

A serious transfer window review thread...
TheCholulaKid replied to Unbelievable Jeff's topic in The Saints
A good, well balanced thread at last which is actually a pleasure to read (despite the efforts of a few...) FWIW, I am more than happy with our signings. Lovren looks class. Wanyama needs a bit more accuracy with his short passing and a slightly better 1st touch to be considered 'class' yet. Only time will tell....be interesting to see how the team looks in 5-10 games time. -
It's really not difficult...neither Clyne nor Shaw were 100% fit so they didn't start. MP had decided if either Fox or Chambers needed to be subbed yesterday then a half-fit Shaw/Clyne would be a better option than either of our 3rd choice fullbacks. Chambers had a pretty torrid time but will learn from it... Amazing (but not surprising) to see people on here wetting themselves after a W/D/L start to the season - two of which were away. We've got new players in 3 key positions - it takes time to gel. Get a grip you sad ****s.
-
Poor from us. Howard Webb's had a shocker too - missed at least two clearcut penalties.
-
As it turns out Chelsea scouts/manager saw more in a player than the general dumbass fan. It turns out they were right. He had a good season for Chelsea once he got going and didn't look out of place at all. He'd be a good signing.
-
Ample growler...enveloped...stink......mmmmm....
-
Your best yet. You used the word 'ample' twice, though. A small point....
-
Think Roger might have his Ricky goggles on. Didn't think Rodriguez had his best game but those asking for him to be dropped are beyond a joke...2nd game of the season! Especially for Ramirez (who I like) on the basis of a 20 min cameo.
-
We look good. Blatantly going to concede a 2nd on the counter though.
-
A sensible post at last. Forgotten how many fannies post on the match threads. For all those raving about Wanyama - I like him but he gives the ball away too often.
-
What time did they read your email and reply? If before the start of your shift I can't see what they are griping about. They had forewarning. If you've been late 3 times in 6 months and then miss half a shift they've probably got reason enough not to be happy. Doesn't really matter why you've been late/not been in work - that's just working life for you. To be completely honest, if you care about not getting anymore grief - get an earlier bus. On the plus side - as somebody said above - you won't get sacked for it.
