  1. Hardly a WUM, mate. Just a frustrated member of this forum (and its various other incarnations) for nearly 10 years. I don't need to say anything else you only need to look at the amount of posters who don't bother anymore. People have been saying the same thing for the last couple of years and the mods either don't listen or don't care. Oh, well.....
  2. Yep and gone a long way to ruining this forum in the process. They must have some seriously degrading photos of the mods ****ing animals or something - there can't be any other explanation for why they're allowed to post their continuous stream of utter ****e on here. Where have all the good posters gone, btw? Is there a Saints related BS/Glasgow/Alpine-free online utopia out there somewhere?
  3. Was sat in a Starbucks in the middle of Mexico watching the Derby playoff on my laptop (only place I could get wifi) with headphones on so none of the customers were at all prepared for a crazed white bloke screaming and swearing at the top of his voice when Rasiak scored. Sent coffee cups flying, down on my knees, proper balls out celebration. Got a round of applause when I finally calmed down. That was quite sweet.
  4. Based on who I'd least want to leave in the summer: Lallana Lovren Schneiderlein Rodriquez Shaw Lambert Cork Boruc Chambers and then a few others
  5. I'm not - I ****ing detest them (mostly). Bubble trips have taken all the fun out of derbies.
  6. Hilarious. Congratulations on almost singlehandedly making this forum not worth reading, btw. That's some accomplishment.
  7. Or just maybe it's the fact that we have a very young team who are still learning? If we can keep them together for another season or two (with one or two additions) we'll be ****ing awesome. Looking forward to it.
  8. This. Alpine and his ilk really are utter bellends. This kind of result is a dream for the bedwetters. Personally, I'm a glass half full kind of person. Nice to see at least one poster blaming Ramirez for the lead up to their goal #clueless
  9. Yeah - he was gash. Apart from that Forest away game. That was a cracker.
  10. Seriously? ****ing hell - he is easily one of the worst pundits employed in recent times by the BBC. Presumably brought in to be 'controversial' - the man is an A grade idiot (Armani tattoo 'n' all) Lambert should go ahead of Carroll - as others have said he can be target man as well as link up play.
  11. Must be a little bit sexually exciting for him. Has to get it somewhere, I guess.
  12. I wouldn't worry about it too much, mate. Most fans' sum total of football knowledge is goals=good. Fortunately the manager seems to know what he's doing.
  13. Won't happen, but I'd love Wilfried Bony plus AN Other.
  14. Haha. Still not true. Just because a couple of blokes on the internet agree with you doesn't make it true. World class (for me) means would be included in a squad of say 22 at any given time. Rooney (never - had potential when he was 18 - gives ball away too much) Beckham (******** - good right foot/dead ball delivery - not world class) Gerrard (nope - too many Hollywood balls/gives it away too much) Terry (that's a joke, right?) Lampard (****ing hell) Don't get me wrong - they're not **** or anything but they're not world class either. Which of the above would stand a chance of getting in the Spanish national XI at the moment? None is the answer (probably not even in their 22) Cole/Scholes/Shearer/Ferdinand (at his peak) probably would. P.S> I notice you've moved the goalposts from 'world class' to 'top class' - there's probably a difference between the two.
  15. That. Ashley Cole (defo) Paul Scholes (defo) Rio Ferdinand (for a short period of time) Hadn't considered Shearer - maybe him Not Beckham Not Gerrard Can't think of anyone else
  16. Simply not true. I'd be interested to see who has been world class in the time, for example, that Sky has been involved in English football (so the last 20 years basically). I can think of 2 maybe 3.
  17. More valid because they've been to the game? That is, quite frankly, a ridiculous argument. Most football fans know sweet FA about football including those who go to games.
  18. I've done all of the above plus some in my time supporting Saints so your argument is rubbish - and somewhat embarrasses you. I didn't go to Sunderland as a) it was on TV, and b) any cretin could've predicted he was going to put out a 'weakened' side. But, and I mean this genuinely, kudos to anybody who did make it given kick off time etc..
  19. Jesus, hyperbole much? When you say 'amongst the fans', you mean 10 or so posters on here and maybe a few of your mates, right? Because I've yet to see a MORI poll conducted that widely supports your assertion. Even when were relegated and all the subsequent upheaval this place wasn't as **** as it is now. We're playing attractive football with a team full of much lauded academy products. We had two academy graduates (and that's not including another 4 or 5 playing for the U21/U19) praised for their performances for England this week and we've just won away AGAIN. Despite all that, this thread continues to run and people seemingly just need to ***** and moan about something. Get a grip - you sad ****s. I genuinely pity you.
  20. Really? They've won 3 of the last 4 at home. The reason they got Pulis in was to make them harder to beat. Which he's done. A draw would be a decent result there this afternoon.
  21. Yep - still massively ****ed off. Gutted if I'm honest. Cross too. And a bit annoyed. Or maybe I'm just a massive wet fanny.
  22. **** me - is this thread still going? Still populated by the same echo chamber dullards too. Get a grip, you sad ****s.
  23. All the usual suspects bumming each other on this thread. Embarrassing.
