I work in a school. Never heard of it myself.

Three takeovers in a season. This is seriously unbelievable. You couldn't make it up.

You cannot be serious. -
Brilliant.

I'm interested to see what Red Bull come up with, given that Adrian Newey appears to have designed every nosecone on the grid this season :-)

Well it was a bloody good guess is all I can say. http://www.autosport.com/gallery/index.php/id/1933

One Wayne Bridge ...theres only one Wayne Bridge

Make Scott Carson captain. Just for a laugh. -
But as I also tried to demonstrate. It is a completely different game in centre midfield. Yes, occasionally you do get a player who can make the switch to a different position and cope with it, but with the case of Gareth Barry he had always been a versatile player and had played in numerous different positions whilst learning the game. He had more of a basic understanding of playing different roles on the pitch. To my knowledge Dan Harding has only ever played at left back, and you want to move him to the most difficult position on the pitch. Harding would not be better than Wotton at centre mid, he would be lost, IMO of course.

I love this. I spent the whole Burley era reading people on here *****ing and moaning that he was not playing players in their proper positions, and now here's a thread suggesting we play a left back at centre mid. Ridiculous.

Saints V Stockport County - Post Match Reaction

My mum kicks a ball better than the Stockport keeper. Comedy. -
Centre mid is not just a case of being able to pass a bit, it's a completely different game to left back. A few examples... At left back you receive the ball in front of your feet, at centre mid you often receive the ball with your back to goal or into feet under pressure, an entirely different way of playing. At left back you generally have limited passing options from which to choose, at centre mid the number of options can be overwhelming if your decision making speed is not up to scratch. At left back you are generally given a bit of time on the ball, at centre mid you get little time on the ball. At left back, when defending you can see everything in front of you. Defending in midfield is a completely different ball game as you need to be aware of everything around you. Just a few reasons why though not completely impossible (Gareth Barry), a switch from LB to CM takes a lot more work than just "he's got a good tackle and a bit of pace, stick him in there".

I think the PL could only legally uphold the embargo whilst pompey had missed actual due payments. They somehow managed to prove they were up to date or had rescheduled everything and so the PL had no choice but to lift the embargo.

Not keen on these shark fin things joinng up with the rear wing, can't imagine Vodafone will be hugely impressed either.

Williams have been pretty canny with their engine choice, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them do well this season.

They have absolutely no operating cash.

How can the man who offered John Utaka £80'000 per week basic wage claim to be an 'expert' in negotiation? It just keeps getting wierder.

I am loving this. Took so much stick at work last summer. I don't want them to go under, just to lose their entire team and not pick up another point all season.
-
Couldn't agree more. Actually FWIW the same can be said of Ormerod/Barnard. If we had the 2003 Ormerod and Beattie upfront at the moment we would be unstoppable.

Its not the uni, its King Edwards that own Wellington now. Still, your point remains valid.

I know what you mean. I try not to go on there just after we've failed to win a match as I only end up arguing with some idiot who thinks we're going down to League 2 because we drew away from home
