  1. I disagree, they're trying to inspire the academy lads, and whilst 76 is very important to the club, it's not really something any of those kids can relate to, or aspire to. But pictures of players they've grown up watching, given what they've gone onto achieve, that makes total sense in this context.
  2. This club really has become unrecognisable from the one I started supporting in the 90's. Incredible. Very proud.

  4. Are we really getting upset that the media aren't mentioning us when talking about the title race? Brilliant.
  5. There's a LOT going on at corners, and if you didn't see the beginning of an incident but just caught the end of it you're unlikely to feel confident on who caused it. Lino has got to be looking for anybody offside when somebody connects with the ball.
  6. How dare the media suggest that some fans were not won over by the Pelle signing, outrageous. It's not as though he was getting jeered 30 minutes into his debut or anything.
  7. Really impressed, proper safe pair of hands.
  8. Well I thought it was interesting. It's not black and white of course but it is interesting nonetheless and does confirm that we've perhaps had a slightly easier starts, although I knew that just from reading the fixture list!
  9. Cup. We won't finish higher than 7th in the league.
  10. Yeah, I reeeeeally got the impression Lambert went to liverpool for the money.
  11. This is the same Graziano Pelle who was getting jeered 30 minutes into his home debut? Surely not. Fair play to the guy, takes a strong character not to have been affected by that nonsense.
  12. How would they move the portable tyre barriers? With a tractor/crane?
  13. Please stay 0-0 for the lols
  14. It's absolutely correct that the sport should reflect on this, but I do hope we don't see any knee jerk reactions. Motorsport is dangerous. I'd hate, for example, to see Villeneuve's suggestion of a safety car every time there's an accident. Maybe that's easy for me to say because I'm not the one driving the things, or having to recover them from trackside.
  15. Absolutely this, always enjoy fans frothing at the mouth about players wanting to leave for bigger things whilst simultaneously whinging that the club isn't showing enough ambition by getting rid of "deadwood" players.
  16. Don't be silly. He comes from Italy, therefore he ****ing hates Pompey
  17. Except for the first game when a load of morons jeered him for it.
  18. Mental. No, we shouldn't have sacked him, he was doing an excellent job.
  19. The main problem has been that the team's physio is the one who assesses the player for concussion. Clearly that physio will be feeling some pressure to let the player continue. There just needs to be somebody impartial trained to recognize concussion and take that decision out of the clubs hands.
  20. I'm optimistic but when we came up against a good Swansea side we struggled until Bony did us a favour, so I'm cautious about it.
  21. Please can we rip Chambers a new one just to shut my mate up who thinks he is the new Bobby ****ing Moore.
  22. I thought the ref got them all right.
  23. People continue to predict Fonte losing his place, and he continues to step up and prove them wrong. He's been excellent.
  24. But it does make a difference. A jam packed smaller stadium always produces a better atmosphere than a less full but larger one. When Wembley only opens the bottom tiers for lesser cup finals or England games, it should be rocking because there's still 45000 people there, but it just feels empty and soul-less. In League 1, St Mary's with 17'000 people in it felt awful, but 10'000 people packed in at Leyton Orient was amazing.
