i watched it, as i do each night, altho never as attentivly as this evening basiclly, he blamed barclays and the board in the 2nd season we went down under wilde & crouch. he said that when he left the club in may 2006, we had no bank debt at all, and had cash on deposit. he says when he returned in may 2008, we had bank debt of £6.2m on a facilty of £5m he said it was part of the agreement for him to come back that they got under the £5m ceiling, which they did he then said that they were summoned to canary wharf in september 2008, and told outright, unilaterally, that barclays were reducing this immediately to £4m he didnt say how much they had been able to repay or go into any circumstances around how we went back over that amount, but his point was, it was the main plank of the business plan to get it down under £5m, but not under £4m he also blamed the fact they had this overdraft at all on an over enthusiastic bank manager at barclays, richard fry, who was/is also a supporter, and suggested both he and the board at that time got carried away which is probably factually correct, but we were a penalty kick at pride park away from getting away with it

best £2000 on Gallileo 2001 King George, won at 4-6 worst - £500 on bosra sham in the Eclipse, about 99 i think that was dont really bet that much these days, take a couple of hundred quid to the greyhounds now and then, or about £500 to royal ascot, thats about it although a large wager on geoff ogilvy for the masters this week might be a licence to print money

http://www.orchidconsulting.co.uk/news/news.php?n=571&p=1 i thought i had seen it all in this industry, but this has left me speechless Calls to UK directory enquiries are being answered by American Prisoners, The Sun has reported. Requests to 118 888 are diverted 5,000 miles to convicts on a jail jobs scheme. Inmates in ten states are paid between 10p and £4 an hour. Details of the service emerged as line owner Conduit plans to axe up to 300 jobs at a call centre in Cardiff. A spokesman for the Communications Workers’ Union said last night: "At a time when thousands of jobs are being lost, British companies should not be shipping work abroad." "Local knowledge is crucial in dealing with callers’ enquiries. People who pay for this service will also want assurances the database is safe in the hands of criminals." Conduit's American parent company diverts the calls through Unicor, a prisons industry agency. Unicorn's boasts about its service include its "high security". Conduit, Europe's top provider of directory inquiries, set up 118 888 when BT's 192 was closed in 2003. It was taken over by the parent company of rival 118 118, famous for its jogger TV ads. It insisted only a small proportion of calls were diverted to the US as part of a "trial". Most are still answered by its other call centres in Plymouth and Manila in the Philippines. A spokesman said: "There are no killers, violent or sex offenders involved. Most have committed blue collar crimes such as tax evasion. They are qualified to do the job and the system has been running there more than five years."

thats what brought some of these new rules into effect. leicester commited blue murder and got away with it, and there was a right old hoohah, which is why the league brought in new rules and the HMRC starting playing hardball but yes, they got away with it, and have screwed it for everyone else
