  1. will be null and void, as they have entered creditor proceedings. plus the basic fact they will not be providing the service anyway makes it kind of irrelevant

  5. i fear this is turning into another "Voting" thread
  6. 1. not neccesarily. but it does have a duty of care 2. no. but it does depend on whether the amount of those invoices and the amount of free cash it has is more than is oustanding in bills etc, (and whether it can reasonably expect to trade out if it would be factored in as well, but that doesnt answer the "technical" question) 3. very difficult
  7. not quite. autumn 2005, its how David Cameron was elected
  8. true. but he did actually win his own election in 92. which is possibly more than brown will do in 2010
  9. oh dear BTF. not your day is it the process for electing a conservative leader actually ends with all the members and the constiuency associations. the short list is voted on by all the mp's. the top 2 are then voted on by all the members to select the winner (it might actually be the other way round, but either way, all the membership gets to vote)
  10. not technically correct BTF. its actually the Queen who invites leader of party with the most seats to form a government and to be prime minister

  13. its that sky would get to show the extra game son its platform without shelling out £3m per game. but the eu rules wouldnt allow them to take all of them, and the dont want to bail out setanta buy buying rights wholesale.a nd why shoud, they really its a bit like asking portsmouth to buy southampton, jsut to get its hands on some lower grade players
  14. very good article here http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/5489116/Setanta-fights-for-its-life-as-sports-await-fate.html

  17. tragically, there is going to be a 3rd series
  18. id be astonished if Deloittes were not in before the end of the week and going into admin give the rights holders the right to terminate all agreements immediately, and resell them if they want to. whether they would or not is another question though the tricky one if the premier league rights. sky would want them but are not allowed to have them, so another organisation could pick them up for a song alternative is they keep the rights with setanta, and whatever structure comes out of admin, and hope they get more that way, by keeping them afloat ( re that last sentance, maybe barclays could have done the same ) fortunatley, we are not affected.... oh
  19. **** me thats a bit weird. are we sure Ric has not devised the format?
  20. i can confirm it is about to royally **** it down in London

  23. not really. half brother to Gallileo, the best derby winner for the past 15 years or so. although he's by cape cross, not sadlers wells, plenty of stamina on the dams side, urban sea won the arc and it is always said the guineas is the best derby trial, although no horse has doen it since nashwan
  24. its Rip van Winkle
