  6. tbf steve, i got banned earlier in the year, because admins disagreed with me expressing my opinion, and it was opposite to their opinion. i also got bunted off when another admin/mod disagreed with me pointing out how he was being played like a fiddle by Wilde i did have a polite and quiet word with an admin, and i left it there. even though i thought it was unjustified. i didnt go squinniying to the press or any other forum about it, or whip up some conspiracy amongst the usual vociforous voices i will agree though that i went through the right channel and recived a response, whilst nick hasnt ( or would not appear to have had a response)
  7. brilliant piece, best thing top gear have ever done
  8. i don't often watch F1 as it got quite boring in the past, but i was enjoying this race until that happened. i switched off at that point, and turned over to watch a proper sport. these things should be decided by the ability of the competitors, that's what sport is meant to be all about, not the politics or legalities of contracts. thats F1's ability to shoot itself in the foot, and losing another viewer who will stick to watching sports where the competition and the spirit of the game is bit more important in the future
  9. tbf, the whole team were that night

  11. worked on a turkey farm in chichester, chopping up turkey breast all day. £2.15 an hour. then the next day i thought id made it, when i got to staple boxes together all day served breakfasts at the portsmouth hilton, that was bad, similar money, and really really bad for yor self esteem. still, at least i was working and earning and not scrounging i suppose also worked at the fruit importers in pompey docks. had to stand in huge vats all day and pick out all the mouldy fruit, whislt dodging the spiders. £1.89 an hour. im not sure they are allowed to have people do that sort of thing these days
  12. i havent caught up with everything over the past few weeks, but are we a bit short of fire power up front? id heard we'd let papa and antonio go, and it doesnt seem we have replaced them. im a bit concerned. i know we have connoly re-signed, but no guarentee how much he will be fit are we going to be playing a different style this season, or are we expecting some firepower and pace to arrive in the next couple of weeks?
