  1. Isn't 28th March the deadline to get the point deduction this season. Looks like League 2 -10 to me.
  2. Money grabbing ****s the pair of them
  3. I wonder if he was put in there by the FA to clean up their act as part of a deal not to kick them out of the league
  4. I asked why he left the FA as Head of Football Integrity to join a club without any integrity. No surprise they filtered it out
  5. Why feel sorry for the money grabbing Cu*t. Don't care what happens to him in the future. Him and his dad wanted the move, he can't even get a start when Arsenal have 9 players out. COYR
  6. Taken from Skate Forum. They have finally realised they are a small club. It's absolutely criminal that a small size club like ours can be allowed to be mismanaged to such a degree. Thank you Sacha Gaydamak.
  7. Never saw this advertised would have been a good day out. Just Hope Lloyd James was there as an EX Saint
  8. Die Skates and do it quickly, before you rip anybody else off!
  9. Neither of them are good enough to play for us. Too defensive again from Pardew. We were playing Oldham at home FFS
  10. In that case the Skates have fielded a weakened side, again breaching Premier League rules.
  11. I read all that threads on here but dont post that often. But as a season ticket holder for many years I do not know how Lloyd James gets a game in our team. It is even more frustrating he takes all the corners left and right and yet he can't even kick a ball. Corners should be delivered with pace, his are always weak, he can't run' he cant tackle, he should never play at full back. I don't like to pick on our players but he is not upto the job. If Murty is out please play Wayne Thomas instead and let Dan Harding take the corners.
  12. Speaking to a Brighton fan at work who watched us on the box Wednesday. He is **** scared we will hammer them, reckons their defence is really poor, thinks we look really good. Roll on Sunday I said. COYR 4-0
  13. Below is a copy of letter received from David Luker:- Memo: Block 4 & 5 Itchen Stand Season 2009/10 Dear Supporter, My sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by the closure of the rear four rows in blocks 4 and 5 of the Itchen Stand. This measure has been taken to reduce the possibility of confrontation caused by supporters standing in front of the Corporate Boxes as seen last season. This often involved Police action which ultimately costs the club heavily. You may or may not be aware of the disorder in block 4 and 5 last season when Southampton played Doncaster on 17 January 2009. The disorder at this fixture lead to supporter bans and the increase in Police categories for the remainder of the season costing the Club in excess of £60,000. We will continue to do our best to seat supporters in this area with the help of the Police. Closing off the rear four rows will help us achieve this goal whilst reducing the risk of confrontation and disturbance to all supporters. Whilst we will always do our best to put supporters first in our matchday operations, safety is paramount and will always remain so. Whilst the stadium falls way below capacity I will do all I can to reduce possible confrontation in any area of the stands. I hope you enjoy the season ahead Yours sincerely Mark Long Safety Officer
  14. Foul Language apparently
  15. Just had a call from the club saying back 4 rows of Itchen Block 4 being closed due to crowd behaviour. Having already been moved from Block 3 think they are taking the ****. So it's row EE for me on Saturday now.
  16. From the Echo 11 May - Sorry if this has already been posted:- THE company who helped send Southampton Leisure Holdings PLC into administration has announced a massive profit. Saints’ parent company went into administration at the beginning of last month after Barclays Bank refused to continue supporting the club. Barclays yesterday announced a net profit for the first three months of 2009 of £826m. That was up 12 per cent from £736m. Those figures will come as a slap in the face to Rupert Lowe and his supporters. Lowe has publicly blamed the bank for their actions in forcing SLH into administration. Lowe had cut the club’s overdraft facility from £5m down to £4m, but it had started to creep up again. A source close to Lowe’s former PLC board has confirmed that Barclays’ actions at the end of March came as a bolt from the blue. “You never thought Barclays would do what they did,” the source told the Echo. “It’s a company that ploughs around £40m into football through supporting the Premiership and here they are chasing a Championship club for £1m. “The directors had reduced the overdraft by around £2m, but the bank weren’t prepared to support the club anymore. “I don’t know why they couldn’t have waited until the end of the season and given the club a chance to sell some players to bring money in. “If the bank had held on, we could have held a couple of concerts and they could have raised a lot of money. “It’s so short-sighted what has been done.” Barclays’ actions also shocked former Saints board members. Among them were Keith Wiseman, who was acting chairman of the PLC board during Leon Crouch’s tenure as football club board chairman. Wiseman told the Echo that the bank manager, Saints fan Richard Fry, used to attend board meetings at St Mary’s. “I just can’t imagine where it’s all gone wrong,” said Wiseman. “Richard Fry was the Barclays Bank manager based in Reading who we used to deal with when Leon was football board chairman and I was acting chairman of the PLC board. “Richard Fry was totally onside with us, he used to come to all our board meetings and he used to come to home games. “It was obvious he was very much working with us. “Banks don’t really do this to football clubs, do they? Banks know many of their customers are football fans. “I can imagine the pressure people like Richard Fry must have come under with regards to the credit crunch, but still … “Every player we brought in we went to Richard Fry for his approval. You can’t do it any other way. “It’s not rocket science. “He was very much involved with what we were trying to do. “We would only do what he would let us do. “He had a say in everything we did, and we were perfectly content with that. “We knew he was really in charge of the club.”
  17. He didn't mention any names. http://www.talksport.net/mediaplayer/media_player.asp?id=107209&c=&t=&rssPodcast=&podcastid=&mediaType=1
  18. He has had a week to talk to them. Ever since last Friday when Pinnacle failed to deliver.
  19. Yes next Friday.
  20. I haven't heard that the Pinnacle deal is dead but have just been told that at the meeting staff were told they are not getting paid and that any deal has to be concluded by Monday. Club will fold on Friday if no deal is sorted.
  21. What Player Bonuses?
  22. A friend who works at the stadium has had a phone call to say they won't being getting paid Thursday. This is obviously about more than just 10 points.
  23. I had a call today telling me Tisdale was going to be Manager and Keegan Director Of Football. Now I like that idea
  24. His isn't a take over its a comb over fish fiddling ***t
  25. Remember taking my son there when he was a lot younger to watch Saints play a fund raiser them to help them out of financial trouble and getting abuse all night from their fans. Come on Grimsby you can beat that Sh^t.
