I understand what the op is saying to an extent. Although we are fantastic to watch in possession, we do tend to stop and pass backwards or sideways which is very frustrating. It's all well and good having most of the possession but it's goals that win games. The way we can dictate play and our passing ability should mean us battering sides. Rather than just keeping possession we should drive forward more and get a hell of a lot more balls in to the box. A lot of the time we are not threatening sides enough and they are happy to sit back and watch us pass it around. Although it has been a joy this season, we really could and should have won so many more games. Having said that this is by far the best possession team we have had in a long long time.

So where's the proper statue mock up then? I thought one of the more IT skilled on here would have produced something by now? At worst I would have thought using the ted bates statue template could have been used?

There was a video clip on here of poch doing this with osvaldo when he first signed and thought how good it was the bond of players with poch! Funny how things turn out!

Like I said before, I know from inside the club that cortese signed osvaldo and ramirez and les reed chose wanyama and lovren.i think we will get better signings without corteses influence

From a contact at the club I have been told that of our recent signings, lovren and wanyama were les reed signings and ramirez and osvaldo were cortese signings! Say no more!

Now I know this may be laughed off but I have been told today by someone who I used to work with at the club that Strachan was at training ground today between the time training finished and the Wotte sacking announcement. This person actually spoke to Strachan and asked what he was doing there. Strachans response was that the physio Mo Gimpel was looking at his leg! Yes, I know sounds far fetched but this person is not an ITK blagger and doesn't make up nonesense for effect. Has anyone else heard this?

I really want to believe it will happen, but unfortunately, once again I am not convinced that all this is sorted with the FL. Not once have we heard "We and the FL are now in a position to sign the contracts and have agreed on a compromise" Until I hear this from the FL themselves, I won't hold my breath.
