  1. We only missed them once we went into Admin. It was Barclays who put us in admin for not cashing a cheque for £6000 (yep a lowly /£6K). Then They were paid once people donated some money and then we sold Surman and McGoldick to cover the rest all be it a day or 2 late. Nothing as bad as Pompey have done anyway.
  2. So I wonder if their going to use this as an excuse http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2797229/Bank-manager-stole-1m-cash.html
  3. I couldn't care if the players ever get paid. Pompey go into Admin which opens Pandora's box. What will be the worst to come out of all of this is that the back office staff will suffer the most. Peoples who's working to keep a roof over their heads and will once again in a couple of weeks not be paid again. And in the end it will be inevitable that that will loose their jobs.
  4. No their not, A rash is useful (for telling you not to sleep with that woman again normally)
  5. Well 4:30 and still no news.
  6. See my post further up. It is Value Wise not number wise Example total Debt £100m I am owed £75M HMRC £25m HMRC have no say as to what is agreed.
  7. See my post about washing clothes a bit further up to see what is to be gained from this If indeed it to be the case.
  8. not if 75% of the creditor accept then the rest have to accept (again this is done in monetary terms not number of people owed)
  9. Yes and to get a approved CVA then 75% of your creditors must agree to it. However this is 75% of amount owing. For Example if you ow £100m. HMRC is owed £10m SG is owed £40m Others in smaller items comes to £50m It really comes down to what SG will accept or take the club back minus the debts as it were as he is the largest creditor (some of the smaller ones will just accept what they get ensuring that 75% is easily achievable)
  10. Thing is he won't have lost the money he is owed as he will of got the club (remember the money owned to him are just loans to him so if he gets the club the debt is not really their anyway) and then can sell it for ok a smaller amount but it is still a lot more than what he will get now for it.
  11. Oh and then some. Hows this for a possible scenario (Disclamer: At no point do I believe this to be the case or anyone involved either in reality or fantasy with anything either inside or outside of reality have anything to do with such things. End Disclamer) Take £50m of dirty clothes and put it through the washing machine and after you have paid your washing money (and lost the odd sock as well) and out comes £20m of clean clothes, after the sale of the nice clean clothes.
  12. oooh just noticed it's 4pm and no word from PFC regarding wages yet.
  13. Which is why it's probably not true but who knows stranger things have happened in this saga so far and I don't think it's over just yet either
  14. Easier to sell a club with no debt than one with the potential to be £100m
  15. Yes but it seems that Gaydamack is the largest creditor so gets the largest say in to what is acceptable. Cleaver ploy to effectively wipe out the debts and then get a club with no debts and then sell on as a going concern. Obviously this could not be the case could it?????
  16. Apparently the two bids are for Jurgen Klinsmen and Gaza. The reason it's taking so long is that they are having extra medicals due to their retirement's and coming out of them (What I thought this was the thread to say stupid transfer rumors with no substance in it what so ever)
