  1. GGGGEEEEEENNNNNNIIIIUUUUUUSSSSSSSSS. That is
  2. I was about to say there is no way GT5 will be out this year (again)
  3. I have it on 02 never had any issues. however I have a work Phone (Nokia) on Voadafone and do have issues with this. I have to say it does sound like a network issue however is it everytime your put on hold (even the same company) or just most of the time. Can you try the same call using your sim card in a different phone this will then prove if it is your phone or the network. With regards to battery life heres my tale. when I first got it I had Push Notifications and 3G on. Battery just lasted a day. I went on holiday and turned everything apart from 2g off. Watched a 2 hour movie their and back. And had the phone on 24/7 and made a good few calls as well. I only charged it when I got home. (5 days later). So if you want your battery to last turn off at the very least the push notifications as this really eats it. Since the last upgrade I have noticed 3g does not drain it as much.
  4. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/mattslater/2010/01/taxing_times_for_footballs_fri.html Good article. Interesting in the fact HMRC are not first in the queue anymore.
  5. are you on orange, 02 or tescos
  6. Also if they go pop. We won't have any songs to sing on a saturday
  7. Well Put. Any oh crap I just realised. That means if they go out of business it means they got the last victory between the 2 sides and we will never get the chance to put things right. Me thinks i'm off to look for investors to help them stay afloat long enough for us to put the record straight
  8. I got an email from Propaganda snowboarding (Or ski slovakia) that their now doing half board accommodation for Jan so thats £125pp for a week of half board this also includes transfers and other things. Go check them out. The great thing about Slovakia is that it is really cheep and Jasna has great runs.
  9. True but I am sure there was saints fans on here stating the EDL are the greatest thing since sliced bread so I personally won't be having a go at them for this. I actually feel bad because if it does turn our to be an EDL or BNP march all the media coverage will focus on is that. Imagine what we would of felt like it the same had happened to us, when we marched.
  10. Did anyone else like the rather loud crunch sound he made when he hit the ice. Ouch.
  11. Don't forget though they came in with a budget for this season and I am guessing that this is what they are spending. It was probably a case of £2m in the first half to see where we got to then depending on where we are another £3m in the Jan market to give the playoffs a real go. I believe there was talk of spending a total of (give or take) £5m for the season. We haven't spent that yet. Another point to make is that we also don't have any debts like a massive mortgage on a stadium and other loans to pay, so money is not as tight as it used to be. Also finally we are so used to selling players and not signing anyone that we seem to have forgotten what it's like to be in a position to spend a bit of money.
  12. pompey fans on soccer am singing where's our money gone. Then someone in the production team shouted come on you saints meet with boo's going to be a funny episode today
  13. Never unless it's the Sun, Star, Sport or Mirror then I won't believe it. I won't I tells ye.
  14. for anyone who is interested it was number 3 who one it
  15. So your saying Wigan are a big club because their in the PL. I don't think so. You don't have to be in the PL to be a big club. What makes you a big club is a Supporter base (and we have a nice large one thank you) and History (Well it's perfect but where getting there)
  16. Thats what I said. Stop nicking my posts and trying to pass them off as your own.
  17. Your correct he said they would of paid off £40m of debt by the weekend. Remember though they payed off this £40m in the summer through player sales. This is not new debt their paying off just advising they have paid some off. The books will show this but unfortunately he is not talking about new debt but old debt that has been removed. The guy is very cleaver on how he is putting this and is just spinning everyone along. I am almost starting to feel sorry for them. But then I come to my senses and just smile.
  18. Yeah you need a good kicking
  19. He can't he has played for 2 clubs in 1 year. And then this is also a good reason for never allowing you to start a thread
  20. Wow with all the good feeling in the club now adays we really are trying to clutch at straws to find something negative to talk about. Unless a premier league team and this would have to be an established / larger prem team come in I don't think we have to worry. Because. 1) He has a great challenge ahead of him and this is what motivates him. 2) He has been told he does not have to sell if he does not want to. Where else in the leagues will he get that kind of support. So sit back, relax and let the good times role.
  21. I notice nothing in any of the main press sites showing that they have been paid. Have SSN just taken MJ's word for it and published the story or is it true. Personally until I see it on the BBC website I would take it as they have not been paid. Or at least there is no firm confirmation that they have been paid. Remember SSN said Paul Allen was only days away from purchasing us. (They are almost as bad as any tabloid news paper really as they go on mainly hear say)
  22. Nothing in the press saying they have. It was quoted yesterday by the end of the week so probably tomorrow then. Then comes the **** up @ the bank and then it will be on Monday.
  23. I like the fact that they keep saying the owners have come in and already put over £40m into the club to clear debts. No they have not they got that money from the sale of players over the summer and used that to pay of part of their debt. At no point has anyone put any money into that club that is not secured against something as a loan. I really am surprised they are still trading and not in Admin. How about this for a conspiracy theory. Perhaps they are in Admin but keeping it very hush because the PL can't have a club go to the wall they are helping them find all these finances to help pay their players and keep them going until June when they will no longer be a premier league club.
  24. NC has answered this question and stated that there are no loans to the club what so ever. They really are clutching at anything at all to make them feel better. I remember when ML saved us they were also saying the ML would have to sell us because he owed sultan bin trump something like £500m or something stuipd.
  25. Anyone else wondering why the money is in Mr Jacob's account instead of PFC's account? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5837689,00.html "The funds are already in my account and they have been authorised to go"
