Wow a thread about poopey's takeover. You know what I have been here for goodness knows how many years and I never new this existed. Personally I think our biggest threat is ourselves. If we get down and do what needs to be done I don't see any reason why with the team we have and a couple more we cannot get a top 6. However if we loose focus (and we have seen this happen a few times this season and last) then that's when we will have problems. Basically I don't see the point in worrying about others but just get our mind set 100% each game and ensure a professional job is done by all the team. Get that right and I think we will have a good season.

Al also wonder how much debt this puts against the club again as sure as hell they didn't put this against their own money.

So how much did they pay. I wonder if they got a discount as today is June the 1st and Chinny didn't want to stump any more cash to pay the players. Wonder if without this they would of been able to pay the wages. Will be interesting to see the deal on this one. Me thinks this is just the start for it to all happen again.

Not really. 22 of those players were regulars for the team the rest were either out on loan or are "youth" (Or injured for the season lee homes). So thats 2 players for each position. I'd say that was about right if not a little short.

I'm a PM and you don't need an accreditation but it does help. Best thing is to start taking an interest in projects at work and see if you can get in that way. Worked for me. Although to be honest it's ok just depends on the projects you get to work on sometimes they can be rather dull, other times you get a great one. Now I am working towards changing to more of a consultant / solutions architect / business analysts role so becoming a PM probably wasn't such a bad idea in the end. For qualifications you can do Prince 2 via an OU course. I have a qualification with the APMP (Which is more project management theory / practice rather than a methodology that Prince 2 is).

I think you will find we don't kick off until 3:05pm now adays plus stoppage time would normally mean 7 minutes late so a 4:07pm kick off for the second half is probably about right. Then 45 minutes plus normally an average of 4 minutes of stoppage time means an almost 5pm finish. This has been happening for the last few years and not just us but the whole of the football league and premier league.

Dear Saints FC (if your reading this). Please never ever let that knob jockey stuart dennis back in to do the match build up. If I see him waving his arms around in front of the Northam End one more time I will run at him with a spoon and disembowel him. Please can we have this nice new chap who appears to be Chris Marsden's love child (or Richard Chaplow's brother). So much better as at least he seems to know what a pre match build up is.
