Well this confirms that were going to lose Saturday...

This team should have enough about them to beat County: - Davis Butterfield Fonte Seaborne Harding Puncheon Morgan Hammond Lallana Do Prado Lambert Subs: Bart, Richardson, The Ox, Chaplow, Jaidi, Barnard, Bignall/Dickson -
"Hours away from going out of business" say SSN. However I remember earlier this week Man U saying Rooney was on his way and he's just signed a new contract. I'll not believe P**pey will disappear until I see the bulldozers.

Agree with this. However Butterfield slipped over several times in dangerous positions and he worried me. Puncheon seemed to have no appetite for the scrap and wimped out of some tackles. Huddersfield worked hard and closed our play down. They were defending to the death and only a goal-line clearance from a Guly shot in the first half and a superb tackle on Barnard in the second stopped us from scoring. Huddersfield played some nice quick tempo passing but they are hoof merchants of the highest degree. My neck was sore watching the ball arch into the afternoon sky. I was more fed up after the game with our first half display but we were more architects in our own downfall than Huddersfield being brilliant. Referee was very poor and the ridiculous 4th offical doing is warm-ups prior to ambling up and down the line just about played right into Huddersfield hands as they looked knackered towards the end whereas our lads had more energy.

Just contacted Saints Ticket Office and the answer is Yes!

Thanks I'll look into this one in a bit more depth but it still looks like I'll have hit £20 for two and only be at Staly Bridge........I'll look into but thanks again.
-
Still £36.80 for two of us. Will be in the car unless I can get two of us on for £18.40. I'm a tight bar steward these days
-
Davis Butters Fonte Seabourne Harding Puncheon Hammond Chaplow Lallana Do Do Do Do Prado Lambert however i think it'll be this as I can see no offical 'injury' to Barnard Davis Butters Fonte Seabourne Harding Puncheon Hammond Chaplow Lallana Barnard Lambert

Cheers for that but my 'lad' is an adult. How times have changed. When I first started taking him to away games I was always worried that he couldn't see.......now he asks me
-
Bizarrely it's more expensive from Preston. Still going in the car.
-
Just checked out the train prices for me and my lad from Wigan. £57.60!!!! Even if I reversed all the way there in my car I wouldn't use that much fuel! Looks like I'll be driving as usual.

Chaplow - signed a 2 and a half year deal - OFFICIAL
Saints67 replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
Not all Preston fans will be happy to see him go. This weeks 4-6 win at Leeds aside their fans feel that they lack steel in midfield. They had hoped for a return of Chaplow who has been made to train with the academy lads by Ferguson who has obviously something against the lad. But hey he could be just what we need and I much prefer someone with a fair amount of experience joining us than a Chelsea starlet such as Mellis. Now just need to get former saint loanee Danny Guthrie back and I'll sleep well on friday night! -
more on him here http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsArticles/2010/February/MatthewReece.aspx

Matthew Reece down as a trialist on the OS. I think it's this fella who is or was at Fulham
-
A mate of mine reckons he was on the bench to prove a point to the others. Maybe Pulis really pulled his tripe out (to use an expression from up here) during training and was rewarded with a place on the bench. Hopefully NA was never gonna use him him but was purely sending a message to the others like "Yes this lad lacks skill but he worked hard and here he is in the first team squad."

This time last year we'd scored 8 goals. This year we have scored 7. The goals will come and we'll batter someone very very soon. Onwards and upwards.
-
I assume they're going gung-ho because we haven't scored in three games? Wonder what Mad karl will be ranting about post match this time?
-
Wikipedia has been updated to say he's registered as a player and has the number 42! Hmmmmmmmmm
-
I thought it hit his ankle

I am surprised everyone is going mental over paper/tv talk...............oh hang on I'm not. No-one knows 100% what is going on.

On my way back up north after the match on Saturday I passed a lorry with M. O'Neill written on the front of it. I took this as a sign.

Got SSN on now. Are you sure it wasn't Benjani having a pop at Man City?
