  1. http://www.banisterhouse.co.uk/ This is where I stay when overnighting after a game. Bit 'bizarre' shower wise (you'll know when you see them) but friendly and welcoming.
  2. Oh noes!!!1!!!
  3. If I remember correctly this is exactly what Jan said in an interview.
  4. Can you guarantee this will happen? I feel NOW is the time our club needs US yet some will turn their back on it because of one single human being. This is OUR club! Why can't we just support it through thick and thin? It is in dire need of our help and I am saddened by the reactions of many on here. This season we have a bitter pill to swallow probably washed down with cold ****** but the alternative is far worse. Anyway it matters not a jot how I feel as no doubt those more clever with words will rip my weak arguement to bits.
  5. I take it Dowie is the first Championship manager to go this season? I reckon Pardew will be next.
  6. I disagree Joe. If QPR don't think he's good enough to lead them to the Promised Land then I doubt if he'd be able to do it for us on a zero budget. Also I feel changing a manager midway through a season (or even 12 games in) isn't a great idea. We have been down this route before and it hasn't always worked out for us.
  7. Looked more composed on the ball at LB than either Drew or Mills have done. With match fitness he'll be able to get up and back quicker. IMHO he is the right man for the role of LB than anyone we have at the club. Long may we continue to use him.
  8. Only Boyle I can find going thru saints archives is a Lee Boyle who was involved in the youth team of Villa around the same time as McG and Bale were in ours. Don't know if any of our real youngsters have that surname though.
  9. I hope Gasmi lives up to all the hype I have privately been giving him.

    Beckham

Clearly does not fit in with our Youth policy. Jog on Mr Beckham.
  11. We'll never win the Fair Play League now! Burley Out!!!
  12. He got out-paced by Webber loads of times (but most left-backs in this division would) and looked completely knackered towards the end but looked up for the game. Even waved a couple of times! If he can stay fit we definitely need him in the side.
  13. Good battling result tonight. Team looked rather balanced until Jan started tinkering then I was worried that someone would forget to pick one of the opposition up and we'd give a goal away. McG had a superb chance with a free header but got too much on it. BWP struck a sweet shot across Kenny but he managed to get down for it and finger tip it around the post. This was another small step inthe right direction and please Jan start Chris Perry. He'd have got my man of the match vote but, as usual, Super Kelvin Davis wins that one. As the Americans say he was awesome!!
  14. I have never seen Saints lose a home match in the league and I'll be there. However I'm taking my Dad who has never seen Saints win and has witnessed Notts County 2 Saints 1 and Hull 5 Saints 0. I have a bad feeling that my Dads jinx will outweigh my good luck. Unless of course I wear a replica shirt, face paint and a red 'n' white wig!
  15. Think he was at QPR on loan last season but is on the 'fringe' at Chelsea.
  16. B*gger! Huddlestone off and England with their noses in front I think Pearce will make defensive changes now and not attacking. Unless Wales score again..............
  17. Was hoping England would cruise this so Adam would get on. However as they're losing now it might be bleak for him.
  18. Lallana is on the bench for the U21 match v Wales. No sign of Cork though. England U21: Hart, Wheater, Mancienne, Steven Taylor, O'Hara, Noble, Huddlestone, Cattermole, Milner, Johnson, Agbonlahor Subs: Andrew Taylor, Heaton, Cranie, Muamba, Derbyshire, Campbell, Lallana
  19. Hmmm this post is obviously a smokescreen to hide what is really going on! I worked for two years (well ok I technically didn't work the whole time) in Saudi and we always finished work for the weekend on a WEDNESDAY!!!! Dubai Phil is clearly trying to muddy the takeover waters with what can only be described as LIES!!!!
  20. Certainly is in the Arab World
  21. Still need to play a 'proper' right sided midfielder in front of whoever is at RB.
  22. That's the reason right there. Same with QPR. It'll be Brentford next!
  23. I still believe we should move Cork there. It'll still be a young back four but play Cork, lancashire, Perry and Mills. Wotton could stand in for either Perry or Lancashire as required.
  24. Not Saints related but just been announced on SSN that Charlton are being taken-over by a Dubai group. Credit crunch my ar$e!
  25. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=10701 No Svensson or Smith in the squad. Stern and Morgan both out injured.
