  1. I really don't think the club as set out to annoy you but if every club but ours is supporting the poppy appeal then yes it would be annoying. i think we need to cut the club some slack here and work with them instead of slinging mud here. i am on your side and 100% behind the poppy appeal as an ex-serviceman myself but think a calmer approach would be better served for achieving the above.
  2. Thanks that was exactly what I was thinking. The footballing world seem to realise why we are having to play kids due to financial reasons but the tactics don't seem to be paying off. Maybe Jan & Wotte need to look long and hard before Wolves pitch up with (surprise surpise) a big centre forward who'll cause us problems. I have looked ahead and written November off as games we'll lose but we should pick up results in Dec, Jan & Feb. Fingers crossed of course!!!
  3. Edited your post for you as it would seem that's what some on here want.
  4. Email the club and offer the X amount of pounds for whichever players shirt you want as long as the money you give for the shirt goes to the poppy appeal. See if they are willing to. You never know maybe the player will cough up the readies for his shirt so total profits go to a very worthwhile cause.
  5. I hope to God that when Spiderman is injury free he'll replace Wooton permanently!!!!
  6. How should we have done this CC? The only way I can think of is to go over the top and we have a team set up for 'slick' inter-passing. My first thoughts were 'Jeez we are missing Stern John for his link up play.'
  7. I don't think we're on Sky Sports now for the rest of the year! Hopefully cue a shoot up the league for us.
  8. We are a side set up for away games. Once Jan realises that 4-4-2 is the way to go at home we should be fine. Bring on Wolves!

  11. Where have you got this info from as it's not on the OS?
  12. Basso wasn't it? He let in 4 last week so no doubt he'll have a blinder today.
  13. This one baffles me. With Redknapp taking over at Spurs and shouting out that they have a striker crisis at the club yet he didn't pull Pekhart in from us? Not sure if even Jan rates him now.

  15. Since the Watford game have penalties been practised and who is the designated penalty taker now?

  17. Surprised Blackpool are in this as they're quite strong these days (now the players have gelled) and Charlton must surely be dragged deeper into our scrap. More so if the rumours are true that Charlton cannot afford to sack Pardew as he would have 18 months salary to pick up. Barnsley have improved but think they are poor and will have a bad run soon. Norwich are another Jekyll & Hyde outfit and I would (happily) have them in the mini-relegation league. Palace also seem to be struggling from one game to the next so could also be dragged into it. Now I've put all that down I'm glad it's not as cut and dried as an 'any three from these four for relegation' situation. It's still tighter than a ducks chuff!
  18. If they only pay £45 for a new shirt then they are getting some kind of discounted rate as us 'customers' have to pay £52 for a shirt with a name and numbering on the back.
  19. Download it mate.
  20. ohhh up after the break!
  21. For a highlights show they are completely pants!
  22. On the Preston site the stats tell a slightly different story to the text. Lol 'North End were stunned'
  23. When I go into work on Monday (in Preston) no doubt I'll hear all the usual crap like 'We should've been 4-0 up at half-time' or 'We threw it away' and i doubt if i'll hear anything positive about the Saints. I missed the game due to being on holiday so i will mute my celebrations somewhat....nah will I heck!!!!
  24. Not on until 10.25am today. You'd think they'd use a bit more of our game due to our fightback but they'll probably do a 20 minute interview with Mick McCarthy on what he keeps in his sock drawer!
  25. If he's any good how come his contract has been cancelled?
