  1. What's the worst punishment the FA can throw at Osvaldo? Because that's what he'll get no doubt. It'll hardly be a severe reprimand.
  2. JW-P
  3. Thanks to a season ticket holder from Twitter I will be sorted.
  4. Posted this on twitter in the hope that I will be able to get two adult tickets for this game. I don't think this will make it to General Sale even though it's between Christmas and New Year as Saints will probably only take the minimum allocation. I am hoping to go to this game as both my step sons (and their Dad) are Everton season ticket holders. Myself and my son fly the flag for Saints but as I'm not a season ticket holder I am asking if a season ticket holder who isn't going fancies helping me out. I'm only a registered user on here so cannot accept PM's but I am on Twitter so can be DM'd at @stevepatton1967. Many thanks.
  5. Made my day. Happy for Rickie and Adam but well chuffed for Jay.
  6. One highlight for me (after J-Rods goal) was Victors drag back and spin (is there a name for that?) Lowlight (after their goal) was Adams backheel in our penalty area
  7. Will any of the books ordered on line and posted out be able to be signed on the night or will they be dispatched before then? Or am I being very cheeky? Steve
  8. ***TICKET WANTED*** If anyone has a ticket they cannot use I am interested. Please email me at stevepatton1967@gmail.com if you wish to sell. Cheers Steve
  9. This had better make it to general sale tomorrow or I will be livid......again.
  10. Might be the free hot meal at the ground that may be attracting them. Shepherds Pie is what I heard.
  11. That's my Christmas present from the missus sorted. Apologies to the postie who's going to have to lug it to my door.....then back to the depot. Thanks.
  12. . If you still have the ticket please let me know at stevepatton1967@gmail.com. Cheers
  13. Email sent. Steve
  14. Looks like I will miss out on these as I doubt they'll make it to general sale on Friday. Dammit.
  15. Cheers for that. On my hols so relying on these type of posts.
  16. He'd better hurry up and sign as we have a tricky trip to Barnsley coming up in the Carling Cup. If that doesn't make him realise he's arrived in the 'big time' then I don't know what will. Love him to sign yet part of me thinks we've no chance.
  17. I am not a Fox-hater but the tackle against West Brom where he was sent off was virtually recreated against Real Sociedad on Saturday which made me think he has not learnt anything at all. Pochettino has a selection headache ahead of Saturday.
  18. From Northern Ireland and grew up in the '70's with Liverpool being the choice of team to support. Kevin Keegan joined Saints and, as he was my hero, I also joined the Saints 'family'. Over the years I have converted my Dad and my son to Saints. One of the best days of my life was the JPT Final when all three of us travelled down from Wigan where I now live. Think I grinned all day. Only regret is not having a photo of all three of us outside Wembley. Worked abroad for most of my working life and have 'converted' quite a few Aussies to Saints. Hope to move further south inside the next 10 years then its Hello ST! Currently get to about 4 or 5 away matches per season and one home (my January birthday treat) and usually a home pre-season match (hotel booked and tickets arrived for Real Sociedad and I can't wait).
  19. Tough decision but for me it's Steve Moran. Keegan was my hero as a kid and the one who got me into Saints in the first place (so thanks KK for all the heartache/good times). Moran however was always the one I was pretending to be when I was kid (doing my own commentary* as I waltzed past my younger brother and scored). *hopefully EVERYONE used to do this :-)
  20. Just looking through all those striped kits made me realise how few I've actually bought. Now away kits is a different matter as I have purchased quite a few of those. Rank Xerox favourite. Sash kit second. Last seasons pin stripes third.
  21. Haven't got time to read all 30 pages but is there a direct quote from Cortese saying he is 'considering his position'?
  22. Lots of Hammers fans up and celebrating in our end. Tut tut naughty boys.
  23. If the results go as per Stuart Maconie's predictions then I'll be happy (apart from his heart going with Wigan)
  24. And the winner is.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21878638 Lawro's prediction: 1-2
