  1. I am soooooo sick of that bloke saying 'All our operators are busy please try again later'
  2. . Don't care where I sit to be honest. My elderly dad wants to go and for that reason alone I'm having to wait until the General sale. On one hand it's great to see saints fans buying tickets for the final on the other hand I'm going for fecks sake stop buying them!
  3. Agreed. I'd still love to see us thump a few teams though before the end of the season. On paper we look like we should however.....
  4. Bale. He could run down the nice grassy bits avoiding all the mud. Maybe put in the odd telling cross or two.
  5. Okay I didn't want it to come to this but can everyone please STOP buying tickets now until the General Sale as I need to get three. Thanks
  6. I must admit I'm getting rather nervous as to whether there'll be any tickets left for General Sale having read through this thread. I could purchase mine in the second period, my son's in the third period but as my Dad isn't on the database we'll have to wait until 15th March before I can make my move! On top of that I live up north so cannot queue up on the day. On top of that top of that I'm banned about talking about the JPT Final in the house as I've gone on and on about it! Squeaky bum time.
  7. Friday is when the cheque from the Premier League clears.
  8. many thanks John. I was a member of the Northern saints for a while (pre-2003) when Andy and his dad used to organise the tickets. I'll look up the site you mention and see. I am now looking at driving down to watford and getting the tube in (should I be able to get the final tickets I require). Not sure if my dad would be up for a boozey day of it though Thanks for the reply.
  9. 22% of "them" think they'll get beat keep that figure climbing lads!
  10. I am hoping to be able to get a ticket for myself, my son and my Dad who is the only one of us who hasn't been to any JPT games.....or any SMS games either but he does live in N.Ireland and is recovering from brain haemorrhage ...but I digress. I checked out train prices in January and it was £86 for the 3 of us. Checked today and it was £203. I'm thinking of driving down but I was wondering if there were any supporter groups from the Manchester area who would maybe be hiring a mini-bus and would have room for three extra?
  11. Sanchez Watt Quick and intelligent, Sanchez was another key member of Arsenal’s Under-18 double-winning side last season. Equally comfortable on the wing or up front, the Londoner appeared in all eight of the Youth Cup fixtures and netted a brace in the Semi Final before striking in both legs of the Final.
Sanchez also continued his fine work for Neil Banfield’s Reserves during 2008/09 appearing eight times and scoring once, in the Gunners’ North London derby against Tottenham in April. Competitive in the air and rapid on the floor, the wiry forward can play off the shoulder of the last defender but also provide an outlet as a more orthodox target man. Sanchez, full name Herschel Sanchez Watt, will hope to continue his steady second-string progress this season. (taken from Arsenal website http://www.arsenal.com/reserves-youth/players/sanchez-watt)
  12. Unless MK Dons are making him an offer too and NC has decided that's too much messing about and is looking at Danns. Could have a similar situation to the Ward 'deal'. Maybe we'll have Ince spouting off (or that other warped mouthpiece his 2-i-c) about how naughty we've been regarding the Puncheon sale.
  13. Argyle reserves beat bournemouth 9-1 in September. Still not good that our Reserves get spanked 0-7 though. I wonder if Tommy Forecast was in goal?
  14. A midfield duo of Puncheon & Hammond would be superb. I'll believe it when I see it on the OS though. SSN got the ward deal wrong.
  15. maybe he's disappointed he's had to leave Palace?
  16. Score another one from the list David Prutton [Leeds United -Colchester United] Loan
  17. Saturday 13th Feb or Sunday 14th Feb
  18. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1941839,00.html Looks like a 4-4-2 formation. Sweet.
  19. Entertaining as usual. Interested to know who the Saints fan is who lives in Falls Church Virginia as my (non-Saints suporting) brother lives there.
  20. Good luck to the lad. Could be the sort of player like Andy Carroll at Newcastle who is a right handful to play against.
  21. Always made me laugh as he was always last by a long time out onto the pitch to do the pre-match warm up. I bet he's last out when Ipswich run out tomorrow.
  22. Fantastic stuff. I've adjusted the BBC's League One Charts! Top five scorers Player Team TOTAL Lambert Southampton 19 Holt Norwich 17 Beckford Leeds United 16 Barnard Southampton 15 Rhodes Huddersfield 13
  23. I agree. One day before the away leg of the JPT Southern Final and THIS makes the OS? I'd have thought they could've dug out a player for a rent-a-quip rather than adding this piece of non-news. Unless..............
  24. I'm sure the OS states that Lloyd James will now be free to challenge for a midfield position. So the signings may not be done and dusted for midfield?
