I'm looking at it as it'll be the one game that has to replace two (Stockport & Tranmere) as games in my local area for me to go to. Oh and there's nowt to do in Rochdale. It really is a dump.

Just looked through the gallery on the OS and am amazed that they could get away with the keeper wearing an orange shirt when the outfield players are wearing a shirt with an orange sleeve. Thought a decent ref would have made the keeper wear a different colour top?

Great thread! As another poster said Keegan was the reason I started supporting Saints and Steve Moran was the man who kept my interest in Saints going. Used to rub my cheeks (no not those ones!) before having a kick-about with my mates so I had Steve's ruddy complexion! Dunno if anyone else used to do this but I used to do a running commentary in my head as I played. I was always Moran. As for the shoulder drop mentioned by LTC I'm still using that and I'm 43. It still works. I've stopped doing the running commentary though.

Hi, I have three tickets for the Final but only two of them are together. I am down for the day with my 73 year old Dad and my son and was hoping the tickets would all be issued together even though they were bought in different buying periods. As I live in Wigan I cannot just nip down to the Ticket Office (if this is possible) and see about getting moved either to the same block or even the vicinity. So I was wondering if anyone would be interested in swapping either their seat with me or seats with my Dad and son? Our seats are in Block 545 Row 10 (x2) and Block 536 Row 8 (x1). We are spending 5 hours on a coach to get there and 5 hours back but for the important bit we're apart. If any kind soul out there fancies a swap (we can do the exchange inside the ground in case you're worried I'm out to rip you off) we'd be extremely grateful. Totally agree with this. When I got home I was asked did i enjoy the match. My answer was no but not because we'd lost but because the ref had ruined it with his petty blowing for so called fouls commited by Saints but letting Rovers get away with everything.

. If (the big IF) I can get my lad and my dad their tickets on Wednesday we'll be going on the Megabus from Preston setting off at 5:45am. The fare was reasonable when I checked last but if it's soared then I'll be in the car and parking at Watford. It all depends on whether I can get them tickets or I too will be travelling solo.

Similar sort of boat myself. Bought mine yesterday. My son has a customer number but I can't get his until next week and finally my old man wants to go too so i have to wait until General sale to get his (if there are any left). I will probably have to wait until General sale to get both my lads and my dad's as I wouldn't want either/both of them to be on their own.
