  1. That's an outrageous statement even by your pathetic standards. You should hang your head in shame. Personally, I thought he had a better game today (a bit tentative at times - pressure telling?) than the other night against Ipswich. There are times this season when he's been superb and others when he's been quite frustrating - I suppose that makes me racist some days, but not on others? Grow up FFS!
  2. And if my auntie had a pen1s she'd be my uncle.
  3. What a vile little child you are.
  4. I think that you're confusing the words "worth" and "cost".
  5. He started it!
  6. Careful! There are some on here who will now jump down your throat and accuse you of "writing off" Sharp.
  7. Interesting! I would agree with nearly all of that ( not sure about the majority being more likely to be correct though, but that's another discussion altogether). I would add that any opinion is "right to be discussed", not just an unqualified one. Surely nobody would argue with your right to hold different opinions to Victor, me or anybody else; and to state them publicly (it is a forum after all). The point is not whether you or he are right concerning the quality of Lee, it is whether you are correct in accusing him of, "writing him off" merely because he passed an early opinion based on (admitted) limited knowledge. It reminds me of lowly prem managers (McCarthy & Hollaway spring to mind) who have got on their high horses accusing pundits of "writing them off" simply because they have "predicted" (a very different verb) that they will struggle. Now take that out of your mouth Victor, I have something to tell you.
  8. You're really not listening are you? Being "unimpressed" is not "writing someone off". Equally, if Lee turns out to be something special (which Victor has not ruled out), he will not have been "proved wrong". We all revise opinions on things constantly - what's wrong with that?
  9. Is there a worse player (relative to the quality of the team that they represent) than Djourou? Sagna was bad enough last night - trotting back whilst Ibrahimavic hurtled down the left wing for goal no. 2, but as soon as Djourou came on I knew the game was definitely up. I reckon he's worth a goal a game to the opposition (as he proved last night).
  10. Shame about the last bit because you'd nailed his lack of logic up until then. I'm not sure whether he's deliberately being a "knob" or just thick?
  11. Well in that case we're as good as up - we can relax for the rest of the season!
  12. Blackpool away? Hull City away? Middlesborough away?
  13. Who the phuck's Billy Mitchell?
  14. You missed my point mate - I was being ironic.
  15. Nob.
  16. What exactly is wrong with playing, "it to Richardson on the overlap"?! That's a fundamental element of what has made us successful this season - getting Richardson into a position to deliver his dangerous crosses has resulted in numerous goals this season. Good football is not all about "beating your man" on your own. I too would have picked Puncheon yesterday ahead of Guly - it just shows why Adkins is such a good manager who really understands the game. We should be thankful that he's at the helm rather than the likes of you or me.
  17. Yeah and the bottom three all went down as well - I wish I'd thought of that.
  18. No problem then! The top three this time last year all went up and the bottom three all went down! More of the same and we're home and hosed.
  19. Christ, ALWAYS_SFC achieves the impossible!! - He manages to make BOTH Dalek AND Alpine seem reasonable!! (if only temporarily)
  20. Excuse me but how can you possibly know that? Were you party to any fallings out between Puncheon and Cortese/Pardew/Adkins or whoever it may or may not have been? If not then how can you pontificate about him having had a "hard time for no reason"? I don't know the ins and outs of it either (I wasn't there either, you see?) - but they do say there is no smoke without fire. None of this has anything at all to do with your last (probably correct) suggestion that fans no little about football. PS I'm delighted and surprised to see him back and looking pretty good indeed (I can't be sure as I obviously know nothing about football).
  21. Davis? Richardson? Lallana? ???
  22. Oh dear, you're really not very bright are you?
  23. Not quite true. Yes they are both the same three points, but the win against Cardiff would be far more valuable (in real numerical terms) than the same against Forest, because it would also mean that a very close rival was denied three points, whereas it makes no difference to us whether Forest pick up points now or not.
  24. Rupert's back!! End of problems!
