For someone who gets on their high horse concerning others' lack of empathy concerning those with alcohol related problems, surely your use of the term "mong" really takes the biscuit for double standards.

Bye bye Saints, it was fun whilst it lasted but I can no longer justify propping up this hideously skewed financial structure that is English football. Very sad...........
-
This! Ridiculous odds for a team that wasn't a million miles of the pace without Ramsey, Walcott and the Ox for most of the season. Ozil will really come good next season and they will sign a top striker. You heard it here first :-)

I'm curious - are you a **** or just a good actor?
-
Watched today's game at Sunderland on t'internet on some Malaysian site - very good apart from the annoying adverts every 2-3 minutes. Anyway, quite interestingly (arguably!) in the league table at the end they are already listing Hull as "Hull City Tigers" - I wonder if the ever popular owner of Hull City has a stake in this TV station?

Post Match Reaction: Sunderland 2-2 SAINTS

Unless there were fitness/injury reasons, why take off Lallana? For me Lambert was having a relatively poor game and should have gone off. Poor defensive cover for their equaliser. -
...........er, maybe because we might not have Lambert for much longer?
-
Cheers, I'll give them a call.
-
Anybody know any pub or club in or around Salisbury that is showing this?
-
You are indeed well named.
-
Spot on. Fox and Guly serve as barometers as to just how far Saints have come. They haven't changed - the standard has. It also puts into perspective the achievements of Lallana and Lambert to rise up from Div 3 with the team and look totally at home in this league.

What a load of bolllox all this "ref bottled it" theory is. If he supposedly disallowed the "goal" to atone for his error - why the hell give the corner in the first place? He quite clearly (wrongly) gave the corner because he genuinely thought it was one - it certainly looked like a stone wall corner from where I was watching from in the Kingsland. Equally he (wrongly) disallowed the goal because he saw some offence - replays clearly showed tugging and pushing going on from both sides in which case let it go. Why can't people accept that referees tend to make wrong decisions simply because they cock it up rather than dress it up in some great "they hate my club" conspiracy theory?

Ahhh! So you're the bloke who keeps sending in £5 year after year - we wondered who it was and what it was for! Cheers mate!
-
It might help if you explain what exactly you think you've subscribed to??
-
By "normal" I'm guessing you mean anybody who shares your view? You don't work for the Daily Mail do you?
-
This - I can't believe the number of people on here raving about that vile sash.

4th place every time. the FA Cup is so crap it gets won by the likes of Wigan, Ports Muff, Coventry and Wimbledon (oh yeah and Southampton!). :-)
-
Strange experience today - watching Salisbury beating Dover 3-2 AET whilst listening to the Saints game at Sunderland - crossed messages at times! Well done the Whites - one level below Portsmouth next season!
-
I can't believe this one has got through unchallenged!!
-
Howz about: 1. FA Cup winners play off at Wembley with 4th place in Prem for place in Champions League - losers go into Europa League. 2. Europa League winners qualify for Champions League. 3. Abolish League Cup (or whatever this farce is currently called) Certainly 1 and 2 would at a stroke invigorate two declining cup competitions and give them both some real edge. Long gone are the days when the FA Cup Final was THE match of the season.
-
Yes but it's all ifs and buts. You are highly selective in mentioning "unprecedented" unlikely wins against Chelsea and Liverpool (not to mention Manchester City and a point at Chelsea) but noticeably ignore (IMO) equally "unprecedented" and unlikely home defeats against Wigan, Sunderland and QPR - you can't have it both ways.
-
If you could get one play in now who would it be? Realistic options
Aardvark replied to Ally Biggs's topic in The Saints
That Ferdy wotsit bloke who plays at the back for Manure should get a ****ing refund for his mask. -

Yeah, that's ridiculous - everyone knows it's Cech! -
So that's 57 (58 now) posts on a bit of news what ain't breaked - wake me up if something actually happens!!
-
And if Manure and Chelsea had played no more games between then and now, Reading would STILL be bottom!
