  1. so it was you then
  2. What a load of ****. He's got a funny idea of an apology, why doesn't he admit it was a disaster and give up on his new little business idea. I certainly won't be going to any of their events or buying any crappy t-shirts from their 'retail outlet'
  3. No worries. Cheers anyway
  4. Yeh ok I guess you can have one too, if andy comes through that is!
  5. Thanks tractor
  6. You have a pm! Of course a pint in it for you. Thanks
  7. Bump! Anyone?
  8. yeh tbf i would have applied, as i am STH but at the time i didnt really want to go, as it is a terrible ground and been there before. But found out today I have a meeting in Hove late Thursday afternoon and seems silly not trying to get a ticket! Ah well... i wont cry if I dont get one
  9. i just phoned the TO. was told there might be some more put on sale later today, left over from the original postal allocation. So, i'm also looking for a ticket if anyone has another spare
  10. no not at all! Spread the word and then the FA and PL might actually take notice and do something! They are taking the **** and its about time someone did something about it! comment by bleuarmee (U14151839) posted 27 Minutes Ago Sickmilck clearly doesn't understand the way free's and loans work. With a free there is generally a signing on fee and agents fees and with a loan there is always a loan fee. This is standard practice and the FA and Premier League would have been aware of this in advance of any decisions on transfer embargo rules. Me thinks that Sick has too much time on his hands and wanst to make merry. Lol. I think he's the one who's missed the point. The lifting of the embargo specifically said no loan fees
  11. I have also sent the email to the PL as well now. Slow day at work!
  12. Copy of an email sent to the FA: Dear FA Recently Portsmouth FC were subject to a transfer embargo. Towards the end of the January transfer window this embargo was lifted to allow them to bring in free transfers and loan signings that did not command a fee. One particular signing was that of Quincy Owusu-Abeyie, on loan from Spartak Moscow. Today the Daily Mail is reporting that the Russian club are willing to pay a sum of £250,000 to take the player back and terminate the loan. Worryingly the article also claims that Portsmouth paid a sum of £500,000 to Spartak Moscow as a loan fee back in January. This to the average fan in the street comes across (if true) as blatant cheating and flouting of the terms agreed in lifting said transfer embargo. I would be interested to know if this article has any substance, and whether the FA are investigating these claims. As we know Portsmouth have been punished by the Premier League for their indiscretions, yet they continue to participate in the FA Cup, a competition which the player in question has made a significant contribution. If the claims in the article are true then there is an argument that the player should not have been signed and that Portsmouth should be expelled from the competition. I would again like to know the FA’s views on this. Yours faithfully I doubt it will elicit a response but I'll be sure to post it on here if it does. As said above, the embargo was issued by the PL, so I'm sure that's their get out clause for not being bothered to act against the cheating bastards
  13. anybody who throws stones at football matches is a mong. police are making an example of said mongs to act as a deterrant to others. Yes the punishment doesn't fit the crime, but thats life, that's also why it is a deterrant. Everybody knows if you cause trouble at footy you are going to get made an example of, so to go and cause trouble knowing this, makes you a mong. as others said, there's no point acting all hard and then crying about it when you get told off. end of story
  14. ahem you've been lied to! half of that booking fee does not go to Wembley, I know this because Carlisle charged no booking fees whatsoever
  15. he needs to STFU the fat ****. If it wasn't for Cortese persuading Markus to buy the club in the first place, we'd be staring down the barrell of league 2 or worse right now
  16. No way was there 195! Agree with nexstar, looked about 80, 100 tops
  17. brighton are very poor at the Withdean 'Stadium' they've only picked up 15 of their 44 points there
  18. Jesus Christ. Do people like you still exist in the 21st century?! Maybe you should restart the EDL thread!
  19. I know everybody is entitled to their opinion etc etc but do you really think a conservative government will be any better? I'm yet to actually see a policy come out of that smug **** cameron. And no I won't be voting labour either
  20. tickets still being posted i've been told
  21. I agree, carrying momentum into next season is vital, regardless of whether we can still make the playoffs or not
  22. Postie just been, still waiting on phase 1 tots. Will be going to the TO in person on weds if they still haven't arrived. Not impressed with sfc here. Luckily I am local, feel for those who are not!
  23. I hope so. I understand that keeping it "real-time" as you put it is difficult, but at the end of the day they are meant to be pros and if they can't deliver what they advertise as available then they shouldn't be advertising it! Just seems a bit ridiculous to charge booking fees and not let people buy at the TO etc etc. to then go and **** it up!
  24. i don't see how they could have oversubscribed the £58 seats! They were given a specific number to sell, and once these were gone they should've stopped selling them. Sounds ridiculous to me. If my £44 tickets are now row1 £34 tickets I will be majorly ****ed off. Is this what the £3 booking fee paid for? ****ing up people's orders?
