I got my face smashed in by a bouncer, for merely opening a fire escape. I went to the police and they told me the CCTV showed that I had incited it by goading the door staff - complete rubbish. They also refused to let me see the CCTV in question. At the time the bouncer ran off after realising what he had done, so he must've thought he'd be in trouble.
