There is a very high chance the expansion to the Amex won't be given planning permission and therefore not happen. Until significant improvements are made to the transport links the council would be crazy to authorise this. You already have to queue for an hour to get to / from the match by train and locals have taken to stopping on the busy A27 dual carriageway to alight passengers. This is extremely dangerous and someone will get killed if it carries on much longer. If the council do authorise an extra 8k seats they will make the club pay for these improvements first, which could possibly exceed the cost of building the stadium! Didn't go yesterday but must admit their ground is a bit odd. I like the idea of it, just not sure it really works. The stand on the other side of the pitch from the main one reminds me of Brisbane Road!
