  1. Think you are bang on the money there, you could try from brockenhurst or something? that would be valid and I imagine the price is the same. They are just taking advantage of the confusing ticketing arrangements, and the fact that customers don't know what they should be booking. I imagine the amount of refunds they give out to people is outweighed by the amount of people they rip off. It may be worth not complaining yet, but get a pattern of screenshots of certain days they are/aren't available from the website, if you can be bothered. If you can prove this is happening regularly they will have some explaining to do
  2. think you will find its more like 20k nowadays, for H&S reasons some seats have gone, what a surprise
  3. I posted this a few weeks back You can buy a return from Soton Central - Brighton for £25.00 without a railcard which is valid to all intermediate stations... i.e. clapham junction Soton Central - Clapham J return will cost you £31.70, whereas a return to waterloo will cost you £34.20. If you include underground a day travelcard will cost you £39.00 So the cheapest way to do it is buy the brighton ticket, get to clapham junction and then use oyster to get to south bermondsey - £1.60 each way. Obviously if you are in a group then groupsave is probably your best option, but you could also use it with these tickets Groupsave SHOULD be available on all trains in the Network Railcard area http://www.railcard.co.uk/clientfiles/File/map.pdf, if they are not selling them from soton, blatantly to rip off football fans, they are being very naughty and it should be reported So you should be able to get 4x groupsave returns for £50 Amazing what 3 years working in London and being ripped off can do to your knowledge of the railway system! I should add that you must choose the rather confusingly named 'NOT VIA LONDON' ticket rather than 'VIA BARNHAM', its the more expensive of the two but is definitely valid to clapham junction. The only catch of course is the train must stop at clapham junction I buy this ticket for every game and I'm a STH holder living in London
  4. Average attendances Poopey 11/12 14,880 Saints 08/09 17,849 So about 3k difference. Question is have poopey managed more than 17,849 apart from the games against us and wet sham?
  5. except then you get charged a booking fee. i always book my tickets through southern. no booking fee, free delivery and the groupsave discount should be on there. Even though I hardly ever use southern trains. They quite often have discounts for booking online as well
  6. prefer sativa myself ;-)
  7. FL awards are tonight.. Come on Rickie and Adam!
  8. Some gems on this old article: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/roman-dubov-plans-fratton-park-revamp-1-3113808 174AllManners Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 11:46 AM I've been impressed so far by the way CSI are going about their business. We've brought in some promising signings and things appear to be happening on the organisational side of the whole club. They're asking for feedback and guidance so open to listening. There is obviously forward planning going on too so I say well done CSI 15spencerc Monday, October 3, 2011 at 11:57 AM To me spending money on the old ground is a total waste of money. I'm sure fans would rather see the redevelopment go ahead and the money spent on that. Also severence pay for Steve Coterill. Get in Martin Oneil asap!!! Sell him the vision and he will come on board.
  9. Meh, 'tis a disposable email address, they can send whatever they like!
  10. Meh, and? Just proves what hypocrites they are with their no scummer policy eh?
  11. Just been on POL to fill up my lunch break. Don't know why i do it its probably the most boring messageboard in the world. I reregistered with the email address lambert7@hushmail.com and they don't seem to have picked up on it.. this after they banned me for 6 years for questioning automatic bans for 'scummers' under my previous guise, linvoy85. Anyway, the muppets on there reckon that The Sun printed an article yesterday that the highest league Plan B will be allowed to start in will be the Wessex League

  21. They love me up there in skatesville Email from PN: Your web comments have been reported to us and forwarded on to the appropriate groups. Could you please refrain from posting abusive messages on our site, otherwise action will be taken. Regards, Howard Frost The News I have replied and asked him whether he sends this email to anyone who he construes as abusive? Pointed out that regular users of his site threaten violence to anyone who they suspect is a scummer, which is of course a term of abuse in itself ;-) I have yet to receive a reply and i'm not holding my breath For the record, under the email address he sent this to, I am struggling to work out what I said that was abusive, but I imagine this is no more than a shallow threat of nothingness so i'm not going to lose any sleep over it f'sure!
