  3. what i dont understand is why they didnt report it to the authorities at the airport if they had been threatened? hardly likely to be gunned down in the middle of the departures lounge
  4. 2 seasons ago i set next to a really fat guy at st marys. i mean really fat. he stank. why should me and my fellow ST holders put up with that smell?! he actually smelt like a sewer. not a lot i could do about it mind, and i did get high off the fumes

  7. another portsmyth that there about to break the league 2 attendance record on saturday, considering league two has only existed since 2005 its hardly groundbreaking, the record for the 4th division is 37000 odd but don't let the facts get in the way of a good story http://www.chichester.co.uk/sport/football/pompey-latest/record-set-to-fall-at-fratton-on-saturday-1-5339993
  8. So they've signed 1 more player than us. ****. We're doomed :-(
  9. As someone pointed out putting anything inside the wall that isn't meant to be there is a big no no in construction, it compromises the fire rating of the wall in question and therefore the whole structure. obviously doesn't conform to building regs either. Can't believe anyone on here wants to defend them. It was a stupid prank to play, totally pointless. Even stupider to film and then put it on youtube. Referring to your client as 'scum' isn't particularly wise either. The contractor would have had no choice but to dismiss them from the site. Whether the subby keeps them employed is up to them, but I seriously doubt they would be retaining their services if they wanted to work for Leadbitter ever again
  10. anyone know whats happen to J-rod on fifa in seasons mode? Swear he was overall 75, striker and now he's done as LM with overall of 70
  11. I think everyone agrees that its better to earn the money before paying for things, but people can and do get into difficulty and its not always their fault. Its become harder and harder to save money due to tightening of wages and general lack of decently paid jobs. To be honest, the banks underwrite these loans and know exactly what they're doing, squeezing the most amount of money possible out of their customer base. It's all about balancing risk, which is how their business works.
  12. Yeah I've done this a few times. You have to phone them to cancel, the number is on their website
  13. Yeah of course absolutely I do understand that. Your friend is a prime example. But here's another example for you: Person A has £5k in unsecured debts, occurred through whatever personal circumstances that could happen to anyone, and not necessarily on purpose. Say £4k is made up of credit cards, and they have a £1k overdraft. They get 3 weeks through the month, need to buy food or have an unexpected bill. Run out of overdraft and credit cards are maxxed out. If the mainstream banks are refusing a loan to consolidate these debts what choice do you have, pay day loan or not eat? (assuming you can't borrow off family/friends). This is the situation a lot of people get in to. A personal loan is not the greatest solution but at least it would give people a chance to get back on their feet, often repaying significantly less a month back
  14. hahaha, cheers the info. for the record i am not personally affected by these type of loans, but finding the debate surrounding them interesting. I think its quuite hyporcritical for mortgage lenders to use that sort of criteria when they are the very people forcing a lot of people down that route by witholding regular forms of finance, that would have been available to those people a few years ago. it's a disgrace imo
  15. not the first time i've heard this, sounds like ******** though. any source?
  16. Every season, every summer you come out with this drivel. We've been linked with numerous players If season ticket details hadn't been released yet, you'd be moaning about it Sad, attention seeking, little man. Get a life for gods sake

  18. Great, didn't receive my PIN the other day so resubmitted my application. Both PINs came through about 12 hours later. I signed 1 agreement digitally thinking the other would be cancelled if I did not activate it. I have checked my current account and have got 2 outgoing direct debits that have appeared, so its seems that Zebra Finance have activated both loans, even though I didnt sign one of them!
  19. Hi Mr Apologies for the delay in getting back to you, we are currently experiencing a very high volume of calls and emails. I can confirm there is currently a delay on PINs being sent, please allow the rest of the day and you should receive it. Once again, please accept our apologies for this delay, please be assured we currently have our network provider trying to resolve the delay as soon as possible. Kind Regards Season Ticket Credit Ltd
