What makes me laugh are the fans who are crying they couldn't get a Wembley ticket because they cant go to games because they work at weekends. We've had 9 homes games on a Monday-Thursday this season FFS!

Rubbish. They could easily have just moved on to general sale to anyone with a home purchase history. Some people just want to slag the club off whenever they can.

Southampton Football Club is pleased to announce it has received an additional allocation of 663 tickets from Wembley for the EFL Cup final. In light of this, the club has decided to put these on sale from midday today and allow Official Members who have attended at least three AWAY games this season to be given the chance to secure a seat. Please note, Official Members who have purchased at least two home games this season will still be able to buy tickets from 9am today, as scheduled. The full sales criteria is now as follows: Thursday 16th February: – 9am: Official Members who have attended at least TWO home games from the 2016/17 season – Midday: Official Members who have attended at least THREE away games from the 2016/17 season Tickets will be sold online only. All competitive first-team games (league, domestic cup and European) count towards the criteria. To date, tickets for the clash with Manchester United, at Wembley, have been on sale to Official Members who have purchased a set number of home games. However, we recognise that it is not simple for all fans to make it to St Mary’s, and that some instead choose to follow the team on a regular basis away from home. We are extremely grateful for this support, and would like to acknowledge that commitment by allowing those fans the opportunity to purchase seats at Wembley. Please note, we expect these to be the final sets of ticketing criteria for the final.

Most of the tickets in the top tier that are left are £40. Thats really not a "Mental price" for a Wembley cup final

90 for the club? I know that "Southampton Away Travel" are now upto 24 coaches and i've also seen other adverts from companies such as Colosseum who are also running trips up.

IMO - with over 5k left I think it will get down to 3 matches with membership so depending on how much they want a ticket...... then yes it's worth paying the extra to become members. (Dont blame me if this doesn't happen though! )

Somebody on twitter asked the club if it will get down to general sale with purchase history. Their reply was..... Still pushing those £25 memberships!

There is a chance you might get lucky

I bought a seat for a friend this morning and was able to get the seat next to another that i bought yesterday. Doesnt seem like there's many members left who want tickets.

They will both be sent to the address of the person who bought them (ie you)

Looking at the green dots, there's way more than 1400 left. It wouldnt suprise me if it was 1400 left AFTER the +5 members have taken up their allocations.
