Just got home and agree with everything thats already been written. That second half performance had no urgency, no cohesion, and no fight. Nobody seemed as if they wanted the ball and panicked when they got it. Every 50/50 ball was won by a Dons player, Lambert and Connelly (and Chamberlain when he went up front) had no support and too many players had off nights. Harding struggled, Morgan and Hammond too deep, Puncheon poor. Very angry and dissapointed.

St Josephs Catholic school which is just before the magic roundabout by the ground

The nearest pub to the ground (for saints fans) is the Merlin on Drive Road. About a ten minute walk to the ground. (Dont bother with the County Ground pub right by the ground as you wont get a warm welcome! Another option if you are coming by car is to park at the cricket ground nextdoor(£5 to park) and drink in the pavillion. Quite nice if there's a cricket match actually going on.
-
They normally charge £5 to park there.

It's based at RAF Lyneham up here near Swindon

1200 tickets for the Arkells Stand were snapped up and Saints took a further allocation of approximately 1,600 on the Stratton Bank, so far approximately 1,000 have been sold, leaving around 600 that will be unlikely to be sold out by the close of business on Friday so will be returned to Swindon and available on the turnstiles. Cost will be £18 for adults & £14 for Senior Citizens , Students and young adults 16-21, those under 16 can get in for £11.

Only one still flying i believe after it was totally restored. There is an excellent book about the Vulcan and the role it played in the Falklands war. Well worth a read. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vulcan-607-Rowland-White/dp/0552152293/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1284049852&sr=8-1

He received a straight red so 3 games. The ref ****ed up and showed the wrong card http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/MatchReport/0,,10280~54553,00.html To compound matters, Saints' second half substitute Lee Barnard was sent off for a lunging challenge followed by a reaction which referee Darren Sheldrake saw worthy of a straight red card, as he dismissed the striker less than ten minutes after he entered the fray.
