  1. Ince is ****ing rubbish. Any **** who has "the guvnor" stitched onto his boots yet still retains his bottler attitude is not the type we want here. If you want a true fighter, go for Billy Davies, not Ince who comes across as he always has done - thick, out of his depth and disruptive. I'd absolutely ****ing hate to have him here.
  2. mate, spot on. don't forget IKEA though... why oh why put it THERE?
  3. Absolutely spot-on, without wanting to turn this into a love in. ****in' hate 'em.
  4. There is no way on God's earth that this will happen... we're at least 5-10 years behind Pompey not just in footballing terms, but also in redevelopment and amenities... plus I don't want to go over old ground but every 3 or 4 months these grand schemes are cooked up and plastered all over The Echo then a couple of months later it's withdrawn. Oh, and our Council is utter ****e.
  5. Storm in a tea cup. A boardroom isn't for arsing around in, looking at the pictures and decor - it's about making tough decisions and if it makes RL and the rest of the board happier not having LM's picture, so be it. Didn't take long for LM to dredge something up for the fans to get "outraged" about.
  6. Now we're using NLP to turn a sunday league footballer into a premiership footballer... (apologies of this has been posted elsewhere) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7735859.stm Interesting read... I've always wondered HOW good you could become if you'd taken 12 months out of your life just to train and play football...
  7. Oh, and Milner.
  8. On a serious note, don't know how Huddlestone has been overlooked. Again. Warnock deserves a chance too.
  9. They experimented in the past and it got them in trouble... :-(
  10. It's meltdown on the SI forum and I can understand why. It's a shambles, you have to activate and legitimise your copy twice (pointless, 'cos the pirates have already cracked it by now, lol) and upon reaching the second stage of activation, no-one can get their game authorised 'cos the servers of host (SoftAnchor - there's a joke in there somewhere) are collapsing under the weight of people trying to activate their game. Luckily, I activated mine after JUST 3 HOURS but had to re-install because it had installed faulty during the first stage of activation (Steam). To make matters worse for some, there are a whole host of faults on installation which are screwing alot of people up. Some peoples keys are invalid, some are typed so poorly that it is practically impossible to decipher between 1's, l's, 0's, and capital o's etc... that's just to mention just a couple... Amusing in some ways how much it has backfired on SI as it's probably encouraged many, many people to go out and seek pirated copies. Oh joy. You're really missing out!
  11. Wloves have an excellent habit of shooting themselves in the foot when they've got a good thing going. So I'm predicting a win for Saints, 2-0. Bizarre...
  12. LOL at the mock up below.. On the flipside, what a piece of utter ****. I'm certainly not going to have a pop at Matt Le God though like some on here - ****ing hell, he only does the research! Anyway, jeeeeesus... typical SI though... You'll get the usual wanngers come online on the SI forum, making it out that they are actually doing the customer a favour and that we're being unreasonable. Surely, surely, after all the ****ing around in the past they could have seen this coming? To make matters worse, I now can't find my ****ing passport (I gave up trying to install) and thought I'd go do something constructive - Ooops.
  13. I'm getting really ****ed off with this smart-casual tie wearing thing going on... what a bunch of ****s.
  14. Riiiiiight... the same Reading who went from 11,000 average crowd to 24,000 sell outs in their promotion season.... :-S
  15. Just wondering, but is there any books which have a similar sort of theme/create the same atmospheric tension as the video game "Silent Hill" ??? Just wondered...
  16. They have that so wrong it's painful.
  17. Another nugget or debatable information: Allegedly it was meant to have happened six weeks ago, it's all "agreed" - but there is a problem confirming the money from the middle east. Surprise, surprise... I think we've heard that one before...
  18. Yessiree. A divine choice.
  19. Just recieved the standard rumour that pretty much everyone has read, seen, heard themselves before at some point... Apparently an announcement soon but it's Arab money, led by Fulthorpe, Merrington as DoF and Shearer as manager. Hmmmm.
  20. Ha, I think there is three of us believe that too! (Chez being the other, I think) Anyway, up until then we'd been playing champagne football and looked, quite literally, unstoppable - I'd never seen a Saints team quite like it. We just battered teams (I think what kickedstarted the form was the 4-2 win against Fulham at home, Beattie hattrick)... but after being stitched up at the Riverside, we only once or twice truly reproduced that form properly (Spurs FA Cup, home and Leeds, home in the league)... and even then it kinda felt like the wheels had come off for some reason. Weird how me, you and Chez all detected something seemingly so insiginificant as the start of our "downfall" Going to have a lookie at your post now...
  21. Drawing 2-2 v Boro away at the Riverside when we were 2-0 up back in 02-03. That for me was when performances started eeking away.
  22. That's pretty much how I feel...
  23. Freaky stuff. You might want to see another clip of the testing, too...:
  24. Can I ask the people who witnessed the Preston/Sheff Wed drubbings to compare them against the QPR/Cov drubbings this season? FWIW, I'm actually happier with the personnel atm than what we had last year... what is it, ten games in to some of our players professional careers? There will be mistakes, there will be gross naiveity but I'd rather see our boysh heart and developing skills than a team full of Idiakez' and Jermaine Wrights chugging around, picking up a ton and not giving a f,uc,k. Of course I don't want to sacrfice our glorious Championship status by just fielding youngsters and getting battered every week, so if change was needed then so be it... however, I don't see that much wrong at the moment apart from a few kids on a learning curve and maybe the addition of a real leader, a real bully of a centre half or defensive midfielder to guide them.
  25. No Young and Agbonlahor again. Or even Huddlestone. Please tell me how Jenas and Downing warrant a place, please...
