Well, he's a forward thinking chap. 'No resale value' What a plank.... think you're missing the point about football, mate....
-

Just had a text from Rickie, he's told me to tell you he's on his way to Southampton for a medical.

Fantasy 'Pick Your Own 5th Test Ashes XI'
Crab Lungs replied to Crab Lungs's topic in General Sports
Yes, that's why its fantasy... a shame for you though, maybe, that it is being entertained as a reality. Big Lolz right back at you, I am afraid - he may not have 'cut it' a few years ago but there is no possible way he can do any worse than dumb and dumber who amassed a total of 16runs between them at Headingley... -
Fantasy 'Pick Your Own 5th Test Ashes XI'

Strauss Cook (wish it could be Tresco though ) Carberry (DESERVES A CHANCE) Collingwood (or Trott, possibly) Ramprakash (old score to settle, one last hurrah on his home ground) Prior Flintoff (Possibly Patel if Freds not fit, however, that would leave us with 2 spinners, though Napier or Mascarehnas explosivity is an option JUST FOR ONE GAME :-s) Broad (Worryingly, I haven't selected him for his bowling :-o) Swann Onions Sidebottom (He has fire in his belly... give him his long awaited, deserved chance) -
Time for an overhaul! If you had the opportunity to pick from any of the available (ahum, I did bend the rules a little bit here) of the eligible England players in the county game today, who would you pick? As you know, I don't need to tell you, for England this is a **** or bust game - absolute **** or bust. We have to win... but gah, it's hard as an armchair selector to try and find a balanced side! Anyway, I'd be very interested to see what other people come up with out of this small pool of players... Possibles Pool of players (feel free to add other suggestions) Opening Batsmen Strauss Cook Denly Key Moore Newman Horton Carberry Trescothick Middle Order Hildreth Trott Bell Bopara Sales Morgan Shah Joyce Cobb Collingwood Ramprakash Troughton Wagh Wicketkeepers Prior Foster Mustard Ambrose S Davies Jones Read All Rounders Flintoff Napier Patel Clarke Mascarehnas Wright Broad (put into this category as he actually appears more useful with the willow) Rashid Blackwell Allenby Bresnan Yardy Trego Darymple Bowlers Swann Panesar Anderson Harmison Plunkett Onions Tremlett Hoggard Mahmood Sidebottom Davies Woakes On a personal level, the problem I am having is not so much the batting lineup or order, but our bowling team... We've really, really got to go out all guns blazing for this one and to be honest, I'd rather we **** up REALLY GOING FOR IT as opposed to defending and blocking our way to an embarassing draw or defeat.

Over twice as bad as Portsmouth -tut tut
Crab Lungs replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
TBF, Southampton is a largely scummy city with a high population of chavs, knuckle-draggers and lowlifes, so i'm not too surprised -
Can't imagine the Millwall 'mob' would come along with women in toe... quite possibly a justified rant by a group of scarfers after being set upon by our own feral 'yoof' ???
-
Ah, the 'whose the ****** in the pink?' game!?! FWIW, I have to echo the sentiments of some of the people on here. Let's face it, some of us, including myself, consider some of our fanbase (or locals) as uppity gob****es. I do not possess the true facts on this ocassion but going on past incidences and the things I've seen in recent times, I wouldn't be surprised if Saints fans didn't instigate it. Let's face it, a few of our 'fans' who like a bit of 'bovver' were probably itching to have a go a club like Millwall, with their reputation - and let's face it, it doesn't take a lot to get them riled, does it?
-
LOL, someone on 606 "I am seriously starting to believe that England may lose this Test."
-
F,u,c,king hell, as literally EVERYONE with the smallest ounce of knowledge on cricket pre-warned, Bell and Bopara ****ting their pants AGAIN at test level and once more proving their complete inability to cope with any pressurised situations. And putting them together in the order? Fu,c,king suicidal.
-
us - we've had our spiral, now we are all set for an upward trajectory once we have overcome this season and made a few signings to strengthen the squad. Soon, we will be invading the St Mary's pitch for different reasons

"Al Fahim is certainly a man of independent wealth. How wealthy is a matter of conjecture, but all indications are that he has less than £60-£70m. Al Fahim had originally intended to buy the club with co-investors but he was not able to make this happen - the FAPL Fit and Proper Persons Test ensured that any co-investors would need to come forward. It appears that the newly strengthened FAPPT has restricted the funds available to Al Fahim." Whoops, lol... not Mr Billionaire then, LMFAO It does look like Portsmouth are downscaling and realising their own true potential. Well done on signing Bopp btw... that'll bring the rabid locals in LOL
-
Erm.... who was I jousting with about Bopara about being a Test no 3? LOL Oh, and to have Bell next to him who has the attitude of 'oooh, as long I get more than 1 run, the attention will be diverted away from me' was suicidal. But then again, the England selectors know best....
-
:-o Having said that, I'd always touted Colly as someone who could possibly keep... :-o
-
Trott rumoured to be coming in.. and with Broad retaining his place, we're going into the game with effectively 3 bowlers :-o
-
I thought it was excellent, considering its holiday season and it's on TV?

Great article in The Times about the fish fiddlers
Crab Lungs replied to bigdavewatson's topic in General Sports
I lol'd at that too ... lol -
lmfao, love the new striker Corp. Have you lot been cloning Djimi Traore?
-
Thing is, we can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel... they, on the other hand, are fooked... truly fooked. Most amusing thing I find i that our situation is infact, unarguably worse. Third division, minus ten, delayed squad investment because of the protracted takeover... we should be the ones crying into our beer. Yet their situation is perilously, amusingly funny. Buying success on credit, then going pop one year later. I think also think the stoneyfaced denials from Storrie and even their own fans are part of the amusement... Comical Ali-esque, even. LOL
-
anyone? LOL

Dell Dell Dell Dell Dell

PMSL... Corp's back and still talking absolute drivel. Absolutely brilliant, you lot are absolutely fooked and reading some of the PFC's fans comments make for such entertaining, deluded reading: 'Kranjcar better than Le Tissier' etc (TDD, good find!) - absolutely hilarious! 50,000 crowds etc.... lmfao.... you aren't known as the 'blue few' for nothing... 9k ST's sold.... lmfao.. Storrie admitting publicly your fooked... lmfao, in the words of New Found Glory 'It's all downhill from here' We will all be sure to wave you as we pass you lot, on your descent to your true level.
