I definitely think there’s some crossovers from the people we both know! This guy I didn’t know, but he’d been in a few times but I’d not spoken to him until then. He was absolutely furious. This wasn’t the first time Cortese had changed his mind on something and then refused to pay once it was installed, apparently 😂 Oh do remind me of the Coriander Lounge story? Was it you also who mentioned he had a chef from there (or somewhere in town) make him his own food or something?

I had someone come into my place of work effing and jeffing. I asked him what was wrong and he said ‘that little f()cking pr1ck has changed his mind again!’ - I asked him where was working and he said he was at Staplewood. I dug a bit more and it was one of the contractors doing some of the interior work in the buildings. He’d ordered some 55k sliding doors, fitted them and NC said ‘take them down, don’t like them’ and refused to pay for the outlay. Not exactly what I wanted to hear at the time as I was a huge Cortese fanboi. Tbh, it’s a shame really as if you put the evidently terrible stuff about Cortese aside (flippantly spending other people’s money, his attitude towards staff etc) he was pretty much what we all wanted in a chairman. He had a vision and was acting upon it, but sadly to the detriment of someone else’s finances and whoever stood in his way.

Tbf, he’s only ‘at fault’ for this seasons recruitment and for many on here, this was a 10/10 window not too long ago. I would say it’s more the shite we recruited under Gao and Kat that’s been the problem. That has been a millstone around our necks for years, and some of the utter dirge is still here clogging up the wage bill… the misuse of the money we had on utter w4nk since Koeman left is and has been the bigger problem IMO. I bet alot of these players will turn out to be decent but it’s been done too quick, too soon and now they’re in for a crash course on attempting to survive in the Premier League. Now that is his fault as that was his vision. roll that together with the mismanagement and chronic ineptitude of the past and you’ve got a perfect storm… and here we are, paying for it now.

Ah the good old echo chamber of self congratulatory bullsh1t. #clownclub

I’m utterly fascinated that a Dinamo Zagreb fan just used the term ‘rats clacker’

So we’ve gone against our strategy completely in the summer when we spunked 70m on kids to spending money on seasoned pros. what exactly is the strategy? I know needs must but what an absolute mess of a club. all under the pretence of that they’ve got everything under control. Shiseters.
-
Makes you proud doesn’t it.
-
Quite easy to turn on Jones but these pr1cks have been churning out cr4p for months, no, years now. And our recruitment team of experts? Nobheads.
-
It’s not entirely NJs fault. I agree. The common denominator is this awful group of bottlejobs weve collated.
-
Yes. He looks like a rabbit in the headlights. I expected better performances than this but this isn’t isolated, nor is it the nadir quite yet. But this lot has got away with it for years. Utter bottlers. And they’ll all wave goodbye without a care in the world in the summer.
-
Don’t agree with the Jones chants. He’s been here for four, five games. Hardly culpable entirely for this utter sh1t show alone. Why no sh1t for the utterly useless players? They’ve mugged us all off for 2-3 years now… and get away with it

This is vile. Hopeful crosses to no one and zero structure. The footballing epitome of hell.

Forest are dump and we’ve handed this to them on a plate.

I liked Ralph but getting rid of him was the right decision. Getting Jones though was a wrong one. still, he’s working with an absolute bunch of shiseters, like the people within the club really. All style and zero substance. Empty platitudes, apologies and excuses and a working pretence that everything is fine if we say it is. We saw this sh1t when RH was here, they’ve just now downed tools on NJ. Personally, NJ has more credence and merit than any of those sh1t bags, at least he’s won things in his career, both personal and at a club level. Bottlejobs. Pathetic Bottlejobbers going through the motions.
-
I’m not entirely putting the blame on Jones. I’d expect better performances but this lot, this group of pathetic whimpering backbiting bottlers deserve more stick than him. Disgraceful group.
-
We scouted him and parted money for him. Great cutting edge scouting network.
-
Trotters independent traders have more business acumen then this lot. Classic Saints.
-
Statistics to back up what a culture of losing we’ve instilled. All successfully delivered by the biggest and most comprehensive group of bottlers ever assembled in the Premier League.
-
Im utterly baffled by it. DCC, who never let us down in the limited appearances he has made, a Croatia international, ex Marseille…. Yet, still… Lyanco. Ugh.
-
It’s utterly baffling isn’t it. I find myself wanting us to persist with it, but then after seeing it for about 20 mins, I want it over with. I’m not sure entirely it’s the wrong system, but I think the players they have in front of them in midfield could be the issue.
-
Never, ever let the tail wag the dog. Fkkk those players if it’s true.

That highlights reel doesn’t really prove anything. If you’ve missed his tenure at Saints, I’ll sum it up for you: - spent the first 2 seasons protected by one of the best defences in the league, barely having to save anything. - when that got dismantled, his severe limitations were exposed over and over again - yet some people couldn’t see past a few over elaborate saves and 2-3 good games vs Arsenal away. - the longer he spent out of the side, the more people romanticised his ability level. When recalled, he was still poor and even more exposed than before. For some reason, people still refused to see he had no command of his area, could not catch or claim a ball and for his size, was quite a wimp. Still, people clung to the few diving saves and the ball hitting him as some sort of goalkeeping legend. - at Celtic he barely saved anything and luckily for him, wasn’t tested much. - good shot stopper sometimes, every other aspect of his goalkeeping, useless. - 100k a week. For that. Wow.
